Summary
A series beginning with Bruce Wayne finally deciding to go to therapy, and the ripple effect afterwards. Most will be hurt/comfort in some fashion with a lot of Bat Dad, a lot of sibling relationships and a lot of Jason Todd because he’s my fav.
This is something of an attempt to consolidate both Bruce’s original characterization pre-crisis, and his more current one, to explain why he is as he is now, and to get him back to where he once was. A good dad who struggled with his own shortcomings and cared about his kids.
Anthology containing:
Live While I Breathe
Bruce Wayne needed therapy, but there were always reasons not to go. Things that seemed important. That were important.
He never expected Stephanie Brown to be the one to change his perspective.
I’ll Come Out Right On The Other Side
A direct follow up to “Live While I Breathe” in which Bruce begins therapy.
His first major goal? Bettering his relationships with his kids, one at a time.
AKA: Bruce plans a bonding activity with each of his kids and generally makes a fool of himself. He thinks it might be worth it though, in the end.
Clearly Calm and Keeping Terrorized
Jason made a deal with Bruce, no killing, and there would be no more conflict between them. At least on patrol. Jason reasoned it would be easier to accomplish his goals without constantly fighting Batman along the way.
It didn’t change anything, not really. Not until he found an old gift he never knew about and Bruce asked him to dogsit Titus while he and Damian were out of town.
Not until the Lazarus Pit started bothering him again.
AKA: My take on a Jason rejoins the family fic.
An Unfortunate Favor
Alfred agrees to watch Jason's new puppy while everyone is out of the house for the morning. Things go awry as they tend to, but all's well that ends well, as they say.
