Suspended before his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry instead goes to live with Sirius in Grimmauld Place. There he learns far more than school had to teach him, and soon he realises that magic is just the beginning.

    Anthology containing:

    The Turning Wheel

Harry is suspended in the summer before fifth year. Grimmauld Place may seem an unlikely refuge, with an erratic lord and a malicious house elf and a tendency to change when night falls. But a year away from Hogwarts offers opportunities, and Harry begins to learn what it means to be a ward of the House of Black.

'Magical families deal with the dead differently. The Potters bury theirs which is more of a statement than you’d think. It says ‘our kin are safe in the ground, we trust they will not rise’ - words your grandfather once said to me by the way, not something I just made up for dramatics. Other families don’t have such confidence.' - Sirius Black

    The Odyssey

After a year spent safe in Grimmauld Place, Harry returns to his sixth year at Hogwarts as the Wizarding World begins to darken, burdened with the knowledge that its future rests on his shoulders. Determined to understand his connection with Voldemort and driven to learn his own family history, he continues his search for answers. It takes him further than he ever could have imagined.

"You were born into a turbulent time, and brought that turbulence with you too, and lived within it, and caused it, an eternal cycle. A harbinger of changing days, that’s what a cast like this means. The axis on which the world will turn.” - Theodore Nott.

“Is that… us?” someone from behind Tim asked, who he belatedly realized was Wonder Girl. “Who's the blonde arrow? What’re they even doing?”

Every sound slowly faded into the background as Tim locked eyes with his reflection, taking a cautious step forward and reaching a hand out to connect with his reflection. Too busy in some sort of trance he didn’t hear his team yelling to stop. His hand connected with his reflection and suddenly everyone in the cave was hit with overwhelming pain, causing everyone to lose consciousness.

What happens when you put the core four + Cissie + Jaime in a cave that connects to a parallel world?
The answer is a "sneaky" team trying to quietly return home. (of course it doesn't end up that way)

Vader had helped Luke defeat the emperor and died for it. But instead of turning into a force ghost and lining up to watch his children's triumph like a judgmental, force-powered peanut gallery, Vader opened his eyes to the twin suns of Tatooine. Made to kneel before Jabba's throne, the only thing Vader could think of was that this was an apt punishment.

It being 45 BBY, a pity only that neither Tatooine nor the galaxy were prepared for a full-fledged Sith lord.

    Summary

There is something crawling in Harry - deep under his skin, burrowed in his chest, hidden in between the gap of his ribs, and since Voldemort decided to resurrect himself a few weeks, it hasn’t fucking left him alone.

You would think he has enough problems, with everything going on.

. . .You should try journaling, the voice suggests for the fifth time, and Harry considers screaming.

    Or,
Human horcruxes are not a thing and do not exist. Until Harry Potter, of course. And so, like most things when it comes to Harry Potter, who is to say where the goddamn limit is. As in, when Tom Riddle’s current home (diary) is destroyed, he tries to hitch a ride with the nearest host available: the tiniest sliver of his soul hidden in the kid that just killed him. Two years later, Voldemort is resurrected, and suddenly Harry Potter has to deal with a random voice taking up space in his thoughts, and, oh, he’s also gotten re-sorted into Slytherin, because clearly his life was not complicated enough already.

Or, how abused traumatised kids really can win with the power of friendship and found family and no one is ever really alone.

Fuck JKR. TERFs are not welcome here.

  9. Summary

It’s been a few months since Peter first became Spider-Man — swinging through the streets of Queens, stopping low-level crimes, and keeping his secret safe with only his best friend Ned in the loop. Life isn’t easy, but it’s manageable. School, patrol, homework, sleep (barely). Repeat.

When Peter is selected to participate in Midtown High’s prestigious science fair, everything starts to change. His invention catches more than just the judges’ attention — it puts him directly on the radar of Tony Stark.

As Peter navigates the fair with quiet nerves and growing pressure, he doesn’t realize that this moment — the project, the science fair, the distant gaze of a certain billionaire — is the beginning of something much, much bigger. Just hopefully he can keep the man from finding out Spider-Man's identity.

    Summary

Some of Harry's memories end up in the past and he has to figure out 1. what to do about the shitty things he sees in his future, 2. how this happened in the first place, and 3. if he may just be making it all worse anyway. It doesn't help that his saviour complex apparently travelled back with him.

What he knows is that neither Voldemort nor Dumbledore have his best interest at heart, so he may as well be on his own side - and recruit as many people as possible to help/save.

That means making old and new friends as well as enemies, starting his political career early and messing with the timeline. A lot. After all, he will drag the wizarding world into the next century - kicking and screaming if he has to. And if that's not an excuse to be mayhem personified, Harry doesn't know what is.

    Anthology containing:

    Same Old, Same New

Some of Harry's memories end up in the past and 9-year-old him has to figure out 1. what to do about the shitty things he sees in his future, 2. how this happened in the first place, and 3. if he may just be making it all worse anyway. It doesn't help that his saviour complex apparently travelled back with him.
What he knows is that neither Voldemort nor Dumbledore have his best interest at heart, so he may as well be on his own side - and recruit as many people as possible to help/save.

First up: deal with the Dursley Situation and gain some magical allies, if at all possible.

    Let's do this.

    To Everybody's Disapproval

After having some of his older self's memories unceremoniously dumped into his mind, Harry has changed a few things: Vernon is gone, Harry started learning magic from Walburga Black and he has a snake familiar named Mehen. Things have settled as much as they can - until his Hogwarts letter finally arrives and he has some choices to make.
There's the question of how much he's willing to sacrifice and what to change about the horrible future he has seen. And how much can 11-year-old him change anyway when faced with experienced adults who may be playing their own games to keep control of him and students who seem to hate him?

Time to find out and step on some toes in the process. After all, somebody will have to get rid of Quirrelmort and turn this death trap into the semblance of a school. And if Dumbledore won't, Harry will sure try.
One thing is for sure: this time, he won't conform to anyone's expectations but his own.

    Of Monsters and Men

After a very turbulent start in the wizarding world, Harry finally enters his second Hogwarts year.
Well. If Aunt Petunia will let him go after at least five attempts on his life within the last nine months, that is. There's also the fact to consider that he still has lawyers and Amelia Bones to sic on a boatload of people, Sirius to free, Pettigrew to frame and a diary to steal.

With a basilisk roaming the hallways and dementors the grounds of Hogwarts, as well as scheming people like Dumbledore and Tom Riddle to face, maybe staying in the muggle world would be safer. But Harry wouldn't be Harry if he didn't try to use the situation to correct some serious wrongs in the magical world and further his political agenda. At least this time around, he has some semi-competent adults (and paintings) at his back and a bunch of friends to support him in all the crazy endeavours his heart desires.

Besides, there is Dudley's vendetta against one Gilderoy Lockhart to consider. Nobody could pass up on that sort of entertainment.

    The Breaking of Glass

Year three at Hogwarts is fast approaching and Harry has high hopes that nothing can be as chaotic as the events he just went through.
But Pettigrew’s trial is coming up, Harry has a sulking horcrux to deal with, and Aunt Walburga wants him to officially take over Slytherin. There’s also the wanna-be murderer trying to kill the Black family and the fact that all family members think Harry is an adult called Mr White.

It's the first time Harry has to act mostly without foreknowledge because he certainly didn't hang out with hags and werewolves before and Harry wasn't on (semi-)talking terms with the Malfoys and Nicolas Flamel either.
With political events unfolding, someone should probably get Fudge fired before he drags the ministry back into the dark ages. Killing Theo's father and grandfather looks more tempting by the day too.

As usual, nobody else seems inclined to do anything about it. All hands on deck, then! Harry and the chaos squad are rolling out. And they're growing in numbers.

    Summary

Bruce breathed in, long and steady, and then he breathed out. Then he turned, composure a surprising shade of calm, and made his way a few feet down the corridor, where a cabinet displaying part of the manor's whiskey collection was positioned against the wall. He bent down to open the bottom doors, retrieved a singular tumbler from within, and then straightened before opening the glass doors above. He silently chose a bottle, scanning the label and scrutinising its information before pouring himself a healthy dose, and then calmly, without comment, he threw back his head and downed the glass in one go.

The kids watched him quietly, none quite sure whether or not it would be wise to speak. Bruce poured himself another, smaller glass, and then repeated the action swiftly. He brought the tumbler away from his mouth and examined it for a moment, and then abruptly he slammed it down against the surface of the cabinet, whirling around to glare at Damian and Jason with fire in his eyes.

Conner Kent has one year left to live.

He doesn't tell anyone. Not Clark, not Young Justice, not the League. The genetic instability eating away at his genome has no cure, and Conner has no interest in spending his remaining time being poked, prodded, experimented on, or desperately kept alive by people who can't accept that sometimes there is nothing left to fix.

    So he disappears.

The only person he chooses to tell is Lex Luthor, expecting contempt or an attempt to fix him.

Instead, Lex asks one question: "Is this your decision?"

When Conner says yes, Lex simply accepts it.

And as the year unfolds, Conner discovers that choosing to die on his own terms doesn't necessarily mean choosing to die alone. Somewhere along the way, Lex stops being the man who helped create him and becomes something Conner never expected.

    A father.

When the Jedi Order refuses to admit 9-year-old Anakin into their ranks, Obi-Wan decides he cannot break his final promise to Qui-Gon and leaves the Order with Anakin. He turns to the only person he trusts to help him protect his new dangerously-powerful foundling: the Duchess Satine Kryze of Mandalore.

Always, Forever, Running Back to You

“Are you stuck? When are you coming back?” Siri asks.

“I um. I’m not,” Obi-Wan says. “I quit the Order.”

    “Quit as in—“

“As in told Master Yoda I won’t accept the rank of knight and I won’t take my vows and that I’m going somewhere else,” Obi-Wan says, all in a rush. Siri looks undeterred.

“Where in the Seven Corellian Hells do you plan on going?” she asks, hands on her hips.

He hesitates, just a moment. But if this is the plan, then it won’t hurt for Siri and Quinlan to know. They’ll find out soon enough anyway, and he’d rather them hear it from him.

“Mandalore,” Obi-Wan says, not without cringing. He’s met with a few brief seconds of stunned silence.

“Yeah, we’re never getting him back,” Quinlan says, somewhere out of view.

What a Year Today Has Been

“Thank you for agreeing to see me, Your Grace,” Mace says, with the customary bow. “I am Jedi Master Mace Windu here on behalf of the Jedi Council. We wish to speak to Obi-Wan Kenobi and know that he has sought refuge here.”

The duchess looks down on him, unimpressed. Her eyes are a sharp, icy blue, her hair so pale it nearly blends with her skin. She’s tall but thin in the way of people who have been half-starved half their lives, though that doesn’t make her any less intimidating. Or it wouldn’t, if Mace was the type of person to feel intimidated by anyone.

“I’m afraid my husband is quite indisposed,” she says, coolly.

The pounding in Mace’s temple increases with a vengeance.

    ***

    choices, choices

Shmi wasn’t terribly surprised when the Jedi came calling, nor when they proclaimed that Anakin was one of their own. It was why she didn’t protest much when they promised to whisk him away to their fancy temple on the Core.

She wasn’t terribly bitter that they’d left her behind. Master Jinn had been kind enough, and he’d tried more than anyone else ever had. Another low bar, Shmi knew, but Anakin was what was important. He was special. He had never been hers to begin with. Letting him go was never a choice— never hers, anyhow.

Maybe that was why, when the young man proclaiming to be an ex-Jedi had shown up at her door not a month later, she had let him in. Maybe it was why, when she had finished listening to his story, to his request, she had refused.

For the first time in her life, Shmi had a real choice. Maybe she had made the wrong one. In her own defense, she didn’t exactly have a lot of practice with it.

After Ashoka is badly injured by Count Dooku, and the 501st is recalled to Coruscant for leave, Anakin has little to do but wait and worry for his student. Ekkreth's plans have ground to a halt for the moment, awaiting the next opportunity to inch the restraining bolt around the galaxy a little closer to falling off.

Over the course of two conversations, he finds it.

Darth Vader tells Count Dooku about a story.
