    Darkness Within

On the fateful night when Ron and Hermione were abducted, the wheels of destiny began to turn. For Harry, the kidnapping of his friends shattered the illusion that the light side could guarantee the safety of his loved ones. An ultimatum was presented, and a decision was made. Now, Harry stands at a crossroads: should he embrace the teachings of darkness or risk losing everything he holds dear? Can he protect those he loves without losing himself in the process?

    Defying Destiny

    Sequel to Darkness Within

Entering his fourth year of instructing at Hogwarts, Harry finds himself satisfied and genuinely happy. However, everything takes a sharp turn when Minister Slytherin's ambitions to extend beyond the UK include reinstating the Triwizard Tournament at Hogwarts, truly testing the fragile stability he and his heir have achieved. To make matters worse, a supposedly defeated Dark Lord escapes Nurmengard, and whispers of dark magic capable of controlling the underworld begin to surface. The lines between friend and foe have never been more blurred, and magic has never seemed so divisive. Harry barely survived facing one Dark Lord, can he survive facing two?

If you have not read my first book, Darkness Within, this won’t make much sense…. 😊

    Soulbound

Book Three of the Discovering Darkness Series

The underworld is no myth. Hades is no longer a distant legend. And Harry Potter is no longer just the boy who lived.

After Grindelwald vanishes, desperate to reclaim the power Harry destroyed, Harry becomes the unwilling key to an older magic. One forged in oaths, blood, and the ashes of the dead. As ancient gods stir and forgotten bargains awaken, Harry must choose: surrender to a legacy that may cost him his soul, or stand against a god and risk losing everything.

Marked by prophecy. Bound by death. Claimed by one who would see the world burn before giving him up. Harry will need more than strength and cunning to survive this.

The dead do not choose. The chosen do not escape.

If you haven’t read my first two books, you will be REALLY confused 😊

    "You went yourself?"

    "I did."

    "You had no authority—"

    "No."

    "I had a promise."

    "I expected James Potter's son."

    "I found Lily Evans' child."

"He apologised because I asked him if he was hungry." Even Fawkes ceased singing.

"He apologised," Severus repeated, "for being hungry."

Dumbledore's shoulders seemed to sag. "Severus..."

"No." Years of bitterness sat behind that single word.

"I buried Lily because I failed her once." His black eyes never left Dumbledore's.

"I will not fail her son." Outside, thunder rolled across the Scottish Highlands. Neither man noticed.

    Far below the castle...

    Ancient magic stirred.

    Deep beneath forgotten stone...

Something that had slept for nearly a thousand years recognised a name.

Potter. And, for the first time in a very long while...

    The House waited.

  8. Summary

The Force was screaming around him, mourning as the Jedi fell by the hundreds. For the first time, Vader was hit by the sheer weight of what he had done. The choices he had made. The Jedi were dying, and it was his fault.

He flinched away from the realization. He didn't want to think about it. He was doing this to save Padmé. That was all that mattered.

    No.

    No.

What would Obi-Wan say? The same thing he always said. 'One life was not worth a thousand deaths'.

He looked at the children in front of him. The scared, helpless children. Who were looking to him for help?

And Anakin Skywalker made his choice. The choice he should have made a long time ago. He reached outwards, not towards the Dark and its intoxicating song, but for what lay behind it — the Light.

The road to redemption is always a hard one to walk. Anakin Skywalker trapped in a time loop of the last few hours of the Republic is forced to learn that the hard way.

    Summary

When a Voldemort in his thirties encounters a time-travelling, seventeen-year-old Harry Potter, he makes a dangerous—and hilarious—assumption. He assumes that Harry is his son. And his son, of course, deserves the very best.

A confused Harry plays along for the sake of self-preservation, but living with his “father” is proving to be intolerable in more ways than one.

“You are mine,” Voldemort said gently, and smiled when Harry flinched. So the boy did know Voldemort, after all. He knew Voldemort was to be feared. “I will look after you, my own.”

“I don’t belong to you,” Harry spat, despite his fear. Oh, what a delight he was! He was no cowering, simpering sycophant, like Voldemort’s other followers; no, this child had a spine of steel. Not many could stand before Voldemort without quailing.

“You are my son,” Voldemort declared. “Of course you belong to me. Your every cell, your every fibre, your every heartbeat. You are mine in flesh and blood and soul. You are mine in magic. And you will not deny me.”

Now with Chinese, Korean, Russian and Portugese translations, and featuring art by Mona and Hypnodisc!

“They always were a little nuts over money. Thinking that being wealthy makes you respectable,” Harry says.

    ”They haven't changed,” Dudley snorts.

”So, honestly, I really just want to tell your mum to go to hell, no offense.”

    “None taken.”

”But, I want to know what’s in that safe deposit box. I have so little of my parents it would be worth playing their games to get access to it. And I think I could. You know, my fiancée is wealthy… very wealthy. They’re more loaded than the GDP of several European countries.”

Dudley’s eyes widen. ”Well, that might just equal respectability in my parents’ eyes. What are you thinking?”

”Maybe inviting them to the Manor.”
    ***
Dudley Dursley is a changed man. Recognizing the abuse his cousin faced in their home growing up, he became a teacher to ensure that something similar wouldn’t happen to other children. Discovering that his mum is withholding property from Harry, he has to find a way to set things right. Now, with an invitation for the family to a remote manor to meet Harry and his mysterious fiancée, will he be able to negotiate a truce and show his parents just how wrong they were? "Challenge Accepted."

It's Easter of year six and Harry struggles with visions he's inherited from Voldemort. Dumbledore is reaching the end of his time and needs to ensure someone will take care of Harry after he's gone. An incident in the Forbidden Forest where Snape must care for an injured Harry without using magic sets in motion a chain of events that impacts how the prophecy plays out and brings former enemies to a place of mutual understanding.

Alternative Year Six story that extends into Harry's post-Hogwarts years. Canonical as conveniently possible through OotP. Wishful Thinking

Sometimes the smallest thing can cause the biggest changes. At the hospital after the fight at the airport in Leipzig, Tony confronts Natasha. Her response opens his eyes to what the team is and is not - and it's definitely not a family. With the truth staring him in the face, Tony is not about to let the Avengers, or anyone else, walk all over him again. He has more important things to do. Like saving the world.

Takes place during and just after Captain America Civil War. AU where Tony never went to Siberia.

    Russian Translation by Reading Hedgehog

    Wish List

After the battle at the airport in Germany, Tony realised that the Avengers had never been a family or even a team, and so he walked away. He never went to Siberia, and world events took a different direction. Now, after his epic press conference, the world - and the Rogues – must come to terms with this new reality. Doormat Tony Stark is now BAMF Tony Stark, and he intends to save the planet, with or without help.

    Russian Translation by Reading Hedgehog

    Best Wishes

A series of snippets, extra scenes, and add-ons in the 'Wish Upon a Stark' universe. It's probably best to read Wishful Thinking and Wish List first for clarity, but if you don't, the short summary is: Tony never went to Siberia. He took a different path, made new friends along the way, and ended up saving the world AND surviving Thanos.

Obi-Wan Kenobi has lived, died, and lives again.
    -

Basically a self-indulgence series exploring the Star Wars universe vicariously through Obi-Wan's attempts to right the wrongs of the past. Intended to become QuiObi in the long run, and will feature a lot of characters including Anakin (of course), Maul (and his brothers!) and Ahsoka.
My intention is to get all the way through Force Awakens, but we'll see how that goes, haha.

    Anthology containing:

he fell in the night through shadow and storm (a bright hot light)

The Master is solemn beside him, gimerstick thudding against the floor with every step. “One of the better days this is, for young Obi-Wan. With him now, his friends most likely are. Heading to Ilum tomorrow, they are, to continue their Initiate Trials. Young Obi-Wan will not be among them and grieve, they do.”

Qui-Gon frowns. “Was the Initiate supposed to go originally?”

Yoda’s sigh is heavy. “Promising, the youngling is. Had many hopes, I did. But with his mind in turmoil, go to Ilum to choose a crystal, he cannot. Not when the Force twists from his grasp and settles so violently about him.”

Qui-Gon cannot lift his foot for the next step. He seems rooted to the ground, an ache deep in his chest, a fear he tries to release into the Force building in his throat. “Master Yoda—”

“Like Xanatos, he is not.” The Master has stopped, too. His gaze burrows into him, deep and unforgiving and a touch sad.

“How do you know?” Qui-Gon’s voice tears his throat, too harsh for the healing halls.

    “I know.”

    “Master—”

    “You will see.”
    -

In which Obi-Wan Kenobi has lived his life. Has died. And lives again.

An Interlude: A Study in Love and Loss (and their beginnings and ends)

Obi-Wan finds that he cannot help but love.
    --
He has loved and lost more than he can count (as so many have), and still he does not know whether it would have been better if he had never loved at all.

Obi-Wan thinks loss starts with love. And maybe sometimes love starts with loss, too.

hurricane on the edge of oblivion (with nowhere to go)

    “Young Bant Eerin is having…difficulties.”

Feemor frowns. “Master, we have no way of knowing what she is truly seeing. It could be past, present or future— and we do not even know if the future she sees will come to pass.”

Even so, Bant’s visions are troubling, full of shadow and violence. At the centre of it all is one person. Sometimes man. Sometimes boy. Sometimes something else entirely. But it is always Kenobi, there is no denying that. His essence is the same, no matter how it twists and warps and crumbles.

“If we could only find him—” Qui-Gon interrupts himself, gaze far-off. “In another life, maybe, he could have been my- my padawan, but now…”

Feemor worries for his former Master. And for this strange youngling he's never even met, and likely never will.

    --

In which Obi-Wan acts in the only way he knows how after a lifetime of regret and self-sacrifice.

But the thing with that is this: Obi-Wan has thought himself to be alone for far, far too long. And he is not the only player on the field.
