    Summary

When Toni Stark flew a nuke through a wormhole and fell back to Earth, something dark and old came back with her. It latched onto the only worthy living thing and created a home for itself inside her body.

Years later, in the aftermath of the Civil War, Toni puts herself back together and gets to work to set things right and bring the rogue Avengers home. Because it's what she's always done: fix things.

But through the muck and the mire, through the pain and the betrayal, through the hurts that don't want to heal, that something inside of her, which has lain quiet and patient for all these years, opens its eyes and wakes up.

    Wishful Thinking

Sometimes the smallest thing can cause the biggest changes. At the hospital after the fight at the airport in Leipzig, Tony confronts Natasha. Her response opens his eyes to what the team is and is not - and it's definitely not a family. With the truth staring him in the face, Tony is not about to let the Avengers, or anyone else, walk all over him again. He has more important things to do. Like saving the world.

Takes place during and just after Captain America Civil War. AU where Tony never went to Siberia.

    Russian Translation by Reading Hedgehog

    Wish List

After the battle at the airport in Germany, Tony realised that the Avengers had never been a family or even a team, and so he walked away. He never went to Siberia, and world events took a different direction. Now, after his epic press conference, the world - and the Rogues – must come to terms with this new reality. Doormat Tony Stark is now BAMF Tony Stark, and he intends to save the planet, with or without help.

    Russian Translation by Reading Hedgehog

    Best Wishes

A series of snippets, extra scenes, and add-ons in the 'Wish Upon a Stark' universe. It's probably best to read Wishful Thinking and Wish List first for clarity, but if you don't, the short summary is: Tony never went to Siberia. He took a different path, made new friends along the way, and ended up saving the world AND surviving Thanos.

“And I am… Iron Man…” Tony snapped his fingers and beings turned to dust.
He vaguely heard Peter and Pepper speak to him before everything went black.

“Sir? Please wake up.” In his dreams, JARVIS was always there, watching over him.

Tony reluctantly opened his eyes and immediately screwed them closed. “Oh, fuck me…” This wasn’t a dream, it was a nightmare, he was in his room in his father's New York mansion.

    code my love, soul born

The Avengers win, Thanos dies and the Dusted are back.

Many would say that this is a happy ending.

Doctor Strange is not among the many, and neither is FRIDAY.

Enter the love for a man long gone, an uncertain future, dangerously powerful sorcerers, an AI who would do anything to get her boss back, six Infinity Stones and mix it with sheer stubbornness and time travel and you have a recipe for certain disaster.

    What could possibly go wrong?

    forged in iron, spell bound

The thing about messing with Infinity Stones, magic and science is that they tend to mess right back with you.

Almost six months after returning to the past, Friday is happy: her dad Boss is alive and well, JARVIS is alive and well, and the 'Rogues' and other potential threats are seemingly far enough from him. Everything seems to be going perfectly well.

Knowledge prompts change yet change negates knowledge.

Should have known it wouldn't last.

or: daddy issues, teenage superheroes, magic, science, sorcerers and everything Friday never wanted to deal with. But when does she ever get what she wants?

    within your eyes, stars burn

"Run from it, dread it: destiny arrives all the same."

Two years after Friday's arrival to this new timeline, she comes once more face to face with the man who caused the death of her father(s).

This time, she won't let him take her family from her. She won't let him win.
    No matter the cost.

    The Seventh Stone

The fight in Siberia leaves Tony in a persistent vegetive state from which he is not expected to recover.
His remaining friends watch over his bedside praying for a miracle to bring him back to them while the Rogue Avenger's remain in hiding.

Across the Galaxy Thanos, the Mad Titan destroys Xandar to claim the Power Stone, his next stop will be Asgard, or rather the refugee ship for the Tesseract and the Space Stone.

As the Power Stone is placed into the infinity gauntlet, Tony Stark awakens from his coma with no brain damage at all, but he isn't celebrating. Something is coming, something bad, he knows it, he can feel it, and somewhere something that is somehow his is calling out to him, it's what woke him up in the first place, but what is it and why is it so important?

After all there are only six infinity stones, Right?

The Cult of the Sixth Gate

It's been six years since Tony wielded the Infinity Stones and they defeated Thanos. Five years since Morgan and Damian were born, and everything is good, the world has had no major apocalyptic threats since Thanos and it seems that the worst is well and truly behind them.

But Damian and Morgan's powers are growing as they do, and their good intentions with them can have some pretty big consequences for their parents.

Those powers are also attracting the attention of those who want to harness those powers for themselves and will stop at nothing to possess the twins and the power of the Infinity Stones.

"How can we trust you're telling the truth?" Steve narrowed his eyes, looking the boy up and down. Peter tensed under his gaze, swallowing harshly.

"You have to trust me," he said weakly, his eyes pleading. Clint huffed, shaking his head. "He's just a kid trying to get our attention, Steve. He's probably lost or something." Peter shook his head desperately, his heart pumping wildly in his chest.

"I'm not, I swear! I..." He trailed off, biting his lip. Choosing his words carefully, he said softly, "I know what you saw in the wormhole, Mr. Stark." The Avengers almost immediately snapped to attention as soon as the words left his mouth, and he saw his mentor grow visibly tense in front of him.

    Peter met Tony's gaze.

"And all we have left on the board is our king."

    Summary

Eight years ago, Tony Stark lay dying on the Afghan sand, the shrapnel of his own bombs having pierced his very heart, betrayed by his beloved godfather and left to die. Now, he lay helpless in a Siberian bunker, weighed down by his own dead armor, utterly wrecked by the friend he'd so naively trusted.

But despite the world’s best efforts to break him, he lives. He comes back with a vengeance, stronger than ever, refusing to be defeated. Ever the mechanic, he fixes things. He builds a brighter future, a safer planet, and a loving family from the ashes of what he has lost.

… or, my self-indulgent long-ass fic filled with my trademark bitterness and bias that asks the question: what would happen leading up to and during IW if Tony completely turns his back on the Rogue Avengers post-Civil War?

    Tony's Girl

When Tony Stark finally opens his eyes after being rescued from Siberia, he isn't the same man anymore. What happened in that abandoned Hydra base has broken him in ways that even Afghanistan hadn't.

But Tony is famous for his innate ability to fix things, even himself. Slowly, with the help of friends old and new, he learns to deal with his new status quo, picks up the pieces of his destroyed existence and rebuilds it from the ground up.

Until an unusual accident puts a new, interesting spin to his already interesting life.

    Three Little Redheads

Red headed people are said to be more emotional than others. After being defeated by the New Avengers, Steve finds out just how true that statement is, and in the process he comes to a few realizations about himself as well.

    The Ironlings

Tony had never imagined he would become a family man. Yet somehow, it happened. Only... in a rather unusual way.

    Balance

Three years ago, a Civil War split the Avengers in half. At the end of the ordeal, trust was gone, and the Avengers were broken, seemingly damaged beyond repair. But Tony once again managed to do what he does best: he took what little was left of the team that Steve Rogers had destroyed and turned them into something much better than before.

Now, the Avengers are stronger than ever. Tony has made new friends along the way, and he even managed to build himself a family. Things are good.

But the peace was bound to end. A new threat looms over the entire Universe, and nobody is ready to face it.
