Summary
With all of Wild’s strangeness and lack of knowledge the rest of the chain spent a lot of time wondering what his adventure was like. Whenever someone asked he usually responded with “I woke up, traveled to the big black smoky place, killed the thing in it, and called it a day.”
No one could get him to elaborate.
In other words Wild speed runs his adventure and gets portaled to the others 2 days afterwards. It changes some things about the direction the newest adventure takes. Other things stay about the same.
(Chain meets Wild and decides to go on his actual journey with him because it turns out when you skip the cut scenes in real life you don't get a handy dandy reminder of the information you missed.)

Here is our story:
Everywhere at once, all throughout time, a darkness is seeping into the monsters that inhabited the land. A Goddess, one that had given up her physical body so long ago that only a handful of statues were left to depict her, sensed this, and thought: “This will not do.”
But she could not face this evil by herself, so she turns to the only thing she can—her bound-to-fate hero.
Nine individuals.
Nine heroes.
Nine that come from all sorts of backgrounds and lives but still, no matter what, striving to do what they must with the destiny burdened upon them. Even if reluctantly.
(Link had suffered and lost and lost some more.
Now he just wants to be left alone with his wolf companion Dusk to explore what’s left of Hyrule and help it finally heal. Unfortunately, Fate has other plans, but he doesn’t care! He doesn’t want to be here; he certainly doesn’t want to befriend them!

“Come on, where’s your sense of adventure, Sailor?” The captain asks, reaching out to ruffle Wind’s hair and looking unfazed when his hand is slapped away by the grumpy teen.
“Back where I left the last fucks I had to give: at the bottom of the river we were spat out days ago.” Wind replies, ignoring Sky’s exasperated ‘Wind’ along with Time’s own warning glare.
“Same,” Legend says dryly from the side.
Wind jumps at the validation. “See!!”
(Or the one where the chain ends up in a new Hyrule and, while they're yet to find the last Link to their chain, they keep meeting up with a hylian named Champ in the oddest ways. All of them except for Twilight. Spoilder alert: all of them need to learn how to ask the right questions.)

a.k.a. What started as a ridiculous crackfic born on the LU Discord while I was trying to figure out how to write banter and shenanigans among the boys and is gradually becoming more and more dramatic.
Home Sweet Home for the Holidays
As Solstice approached, every year Time’s neighbors would hang twinkling lights in their windows and evergreen boughs from their door. Every year, he thought the displays became more outlandish, just a contest to see whose home would be the most garishly cheerful on the block.
So imagine his face when he came home that evening to find colorful garland wrapped around his railing, a very large evergreen swag obscuring his door, fake plastic icicles dangling from the awning, and every window in the townhouse lined with multicolored lights.
Every. Single. One.
And they were blinking.

Hyrule gets the results of his board exam and promptly holes himself up in Time’s study without a word to the others. The boys can only assume the worst.

Home Sweet Home: Funeral Derangements
An accident takes Twilight from the household much too soon, and Wild’s friends try everything they can think of to help him cope. When Hyrule lends him one of Legend’s crusty old books, Wild spirals down a research rabbit hole about the Shrine of Resurrection, fueling his denial and giving him the vain hope that maybe he can reverse the irreversible.
And even if Twilight isn’t talking much, smells kinda funny…

"From what I saw, it looked like a teenager – maybe sixteen or seventeen? Blonde hair, blue tunic. Had a sword and a bow. I tried to approach, but uhh… long story short, bad timing on my part, he saw something weird and I think I might have spooked him. He pulled out his bow before I could even blink. I think it was a warning shot? Hard to say. I tried to calm him down, tried to talk with him, and that’s about the time he threw the bananas and ran off."
Basically a "gang meets Wild" fic where Wild is a skittish, traumatised, low self-esteem loner who is very stealthy, very fast, not particularly honest and also capable of teleporting. Shenanigans ensue. Features a mix of humour, fluff, hurt/comfort, angst and action, with some of that tasty found family stuff. Things work out eventually, but expect emotional and physical owies along the way. Major themes are in the tags, with some additional CWs listed in the chapter notes - see Chapter 1 for a consolidated list.

Summary
(Some Heroes are Born, but You were Made)
A collection of stories revolving around the idea that Wild(Breath of the Wild's Link), is very different from his past namesakes. These stories dive into the how and why of that difference as well as the emotional difficulties it brings our heroes.
Wild in most of these stories does not possess the Hero's Spirit (meaning he's not technically the HERO. He doesn't have the Triforce of Courage, and the Master Sword doesn't recognize him as her wielder).
Unless otherwise stated, all of these works are their own stand-alone pieces.

Wildling
100 years after the Calamity, the body of the fallen hero rises once again, but the being who steps out of the Shrine of Resurrection is no longer Hylia's Chosen Hero. A new life born without the Goddess's blessing, created by magics old and forgotten, something new and impossibly different took its first breaths.
Where the Hero of Courage once fell, the Wildling now rises.“What are you?"

AKA: Breath of the Wild Link isn't actually a "Link" blessed with the Hero's Spirit or even the Triforce of Courage. He's something much different though no less important in the grand scheme of destiny. Wild has always been a bit different from the other Links, this was a common fact among the group of time-traveling Links, but none of the past heroes could ever imagine just how different their newest member is.

The newest Hero decides its time to have a few words with her 'predecessor'. What starts as a meaningless talk about their shared timeline and world soon dissolves into a much deeper and heated conversation about scars both thought long healed.

Wild is an enigma even among a group of his past selves. He brings endless knowledge of a time so far from any of their own, a time of destruction, ruin, and loss. The other Heroes never thought that loss would stretch to Wild's people having completely forgotten the ways of magic too.
Legend decides he's tired of watching everyone dance around Wild, and he's going to fix the problem at its root. But never in his wildest dreams did he expect what he finds when he confronts Wild.
Songs of the Wilds
Songs have been one of the common threads through the Hero's journey, as sure as the Hero's Spirit itself. But the newest hero-from a world of ruin-possesses no chosen soul, doesn't wield the Master Sword, and has never even heard of the Triforce. It's no surprise that the Chosen Heroes of the past deemed that songs wouldn't be part of his story, after all, he didn't even have an instrument to play!
But not every song needs a tool to be sung.

They should have known that mirror was cursed, but the Links' curiosity always won out over their common sense. Now each Hero is forced to take on the guise of a monster that best reflects their personal demons and fears.
All... expect Wild that is. But Wild knows what he is becoming and he prays to every being that will listen that they can undo this magic before his transformation is complete, or the words of the curse really will come true.
Wild will become the Hero's Bane.
The Divine Calls
All the Heroes of Legend were special in their own ways, but there was something about Wild that truly set him apart from his fellows. He could do something none of them could, something no one else could in all of existence. The Divine called to him and he answered them unafraid.
"You can hear her?"
"Always. Though sometimes I wish I couldn't."....

Wilder Than You
Wild might be the hero of the wilds, champion of Hyrule, and newest successor to the Hero's Spirit, but there is another that the wild, untamed, ancient things bow to. A Hylian who shared his face, with forest green eyes instead of ocean blue, unmarred by scars of wars past. A hero that was not Hylia's.
He called himself the "Wildling".

Summary
A series of whumpy, angsty, hurt/comfort fics based on Narsh Poptarts' battle drawings.
Each of the ficlets (except for Wars and Wind's chapters) is stand-alone and each of the boys has a BAD TIME. The fics range from fever, hypothermia, poisoning etc.
Please read the warnings in the author notes at the beginning of each chapter to decide whether or not that chapter is safe for you to read.
Tread cautiously. These contain a LOT of angst however, they will all have hurt/comfort endings.
