    Anthology containing:

    The Blood Between Us

There is so much more connecting the Chain than any of them had realized. Time and Twilight are connected, somehow, but beyond that? Nothing much, right?

Currently playing: I finally give the boys a break and some bonding time and the Team Mom is informed of the family line. And, while the other's talk, one of their number is paid a visit by a dark being with a secret to share!

Continued in 'The Face of My Father', now up and open for reading!

    Pepper Me This

While taking a break at Lon Lon Ranch, Twilight suggests a game; never have I ever. Only, there's some people in the group who've done some crazy things, and it becomes less of a game and more of an attempt to get certain heroes to actually have to participate.

In which: Legend has done nearly everything under the sun and the author forgot how to play Never Have I Ever

    The Face of My Father

Finding out that Warriors is a father is a hard blow to take when Sky has never seen what a father was like before. Legend and Dawn had discussed something about his own father before, but Sky doesn't know anything about the man except that he disappeared years ago while trying to make the surface world safe again.
But then Legend's bunny-merchant of a friend leads them towards what they all think it a monster camp, only for the Chain of Links to find themselves in another country altogether, one that might have the answers that Sky gave up seeking years ago.

Now playing: Sky and Wars have a bit of a heart to heart, and Sky is faced with the realization that he may or may not be a dad at this point.

    Continued in: Hylia's Grace

    On Hiatus

All the Voices in My Head

At the end of Chapter 11 of The Face of My Father, Legend and Four were left alone beside Legend's house. In the beginning of Chapter 12, Four is much cheerier and calm then he was when the others left him to process... whatever made him shut down.

What happened while the others were talking? Let's find out!!!

    Hylia's Love

After waking up in yet another Hyrule, the Chain wander around looking for clues as to what they're doing there, but this time, it's not up to them to help someone else, it's up to this time's residents to help them.
Or maybe they'll just help each other, depending on how Time and Legend feel about working with a goddess.

    Zvezda

The years Warriors had with his son were precious, and something he would never forget. Wild did though, so here's just a few snapshots of the world Wild and Warriors lost when Cia destroyed their family.

    Kintsugi

Sometimes things, families even, seem too broken to be fixed. Warriors' family seems shattered beyond repair, and with a world to save and his own destiny to unravel, it seems impossible for him to mend what's lain broken for years. With his brothers, son, and friends giving him aid, as well as a benevolent goddess popping up here and there and a deity they're still only just getting to know, along with countless other faces both familiar and not, maybe there's a slim chance a bit of golden power can seal the cracks.

Or maybe, as the case maybe, power of another kind altogether.

Now Playing: As the heroes return, the gods discuss the next step in the path laid out for them. It's been a long time, but Hylia and Dei still know their roles in the dance they preform together.

Next Week: The heroes return to a world a bit less destroyed than they thought, and a deity ready to pick up where Hylia left off and ensure they have their powers under control as they set out to fight Majora.

    Summary

The Wilds is set in the Linked Universe AU with Kid!Wild who has more to them then meets the eye.

    Anthology containing:

    Still Waters, Wild Forests

Link has survived a 100-year coma, fought an uncountable number of monsters more than triple his size, solved puzzles meant to kill, helped seal a giant pig made of Calamity all the while having no memories of before and in the body of a seven-year-old—which, Link would like to state, 100 years ago, he had been a seventeen year old!

In which no one believes Wild isn't a child, despite some of the clear signs he inhabits.

(Were they simply in denial? Link wondered; sweet Hylia, he knew by his own experience he shouldn't expect perfect cookie-cutter warriors, but still! And they called him weird for his staring problem—yes he knows he lacks some social cues, thank you very much, but he's inclined to blame that on his first month awake and absolutely no memories to his name.)

    Quiet Cells, Dusty Floors

He thinks it ironic, really. Once he had a prison made of wood. Now, at a moment of distraction, he found himself in a position strikingly alike to his previous imprisonment.

Now, he was just a prisoner to just another jailor.

For each day that passes, Madius longs more for his wife, who he knows deep down is no longer there, and longs for his child, who he knows slumbers, peacefully waiting for the moment of their awakening.

    Home, Where you Make it

They had done it: Ganon had been sealed at long last.

Link finally gets to see Zelda with his own eyes and not through the haze of long-forgotten memories.

He knows they have a lot to work through, knows their friendship had never been good, but Link hopes that it might change for the better now they no longer have this burden on their shoulders.

He hopes she likes the home waiting for them in Hateno.

Maybe they could finally start afresh.

    Salty Seas, Fearful Hearts

Wild loves water, loves swimming but only on her terms. This was not on her terms.

    Divine Beings, Chaos Abound

    (Still Waters, Wild Forests remix)

In which instead of the Chain meeting Link only a year after he defeated Calamity Ganon like in Still Waters, Wild Forests, four years have passed and now he’s twelve.

He might be just a bit wiser, just a bit more skilfully reckless but that doesn’t mean he actually knows what the hell he’s doing either when getting down to things. Whelp—Auntie Hylia needs his help so he’s gonna join this chain of past Links to do just that.

But before that, he’s gonna have some fun with them. Making it too easy would be boring after all.

rise up, ting ting, like glitter and gold

25 short prompts challenge. Aiming to have a chapter a day.

Each prompt revolves around Wild interacting with the Chain in some way.

Each prompt will range from 500-1000 words.

    Self-Love

“When I woke up, I didn’t know anything—that included gender,” Link fiddled with the edge of the blanket that they had been cuddled up in minutes prior, “I just called myself they because I was—what? What was I? I remember thinking, I didn’t know what male or female was, let alone that there were differences. When the Old Man began teaching me to speak and read—or gave me a fresher since when I began to remember I pretty much got it—he used he pronouns and I hated it, made me feel so, so uncomfortable. I got snappish and angry at him until I had to outright try and explain why calling me a he got me so riled up. He…clearly disliked it but said nothing. Probably to save face and not make me any angrier.”

Zelda had always known her father’s views on what nobility had deemed taboos. That shunning was what led to Zelda’s own…repression.

    Fundamental Foundation

Wild blinked in bewilderment, glancing over his shoulder to Time, burrows furrowed in amused confusion, “Scare you? Haha.”

Time sighed and ruffled his hair, ignoring Wild’s squeak of protest, “It’s stunts like those that make me worry about you. I know you can handle yourself well, but sometimes it just gets to me. About all of you.”

Wild said nothing for a beat as he stood, mulling over Time’s words.

Then he visibly hesitated a beat, nibbling at his bottom lip, “Have I…have I told you about my first day awake?"

  4. Summary

The Links are separated during a shift to Wild's Hyrule and scattered all over the land. To make matters worse, the Shadow's influence seems to only be getting stronger, with rumors of terrifyingly strong monsters appearing and Divine Beasts acting strangely. Time and Wild, stranded together, set off on a journey to find their friends.

    Things spiral rapidly from there.
