    Summary

When Depur sends Vader back to Tatooine for the third time, Anakin visits his mother. He cannot go to her grave, but the place she died is a ruin. Surely, he can go there and talk to her. Before, there was nothing left for him to lose, but now there is Leia, just the right age to be his child, and the world he broke before she could see it.

Anakin speaks his regrets to the desert, until the wind whispers back.

He awakens, 18 years in the past, in the moment before his first evil.

Is this a piece of Ar-Amu's promise? The will of the Force? Yes, of course. But whichever you believe in, know that the trickery of Ekkreth will surely play its part.

    Anthology containing:

    The Children of the Mother

When Darth Sidious sends Vader back to Tatooine for the third time, Anakin Skywalker visits his mother.

Eighteen years earlier, Beru Whitesun waits for Shmi Skywalker's child to return from the desert.

    Or,
Whether by Ar-Amu's promise or by the will of the Force, Anakin Skywalker finds himself in the long past.

Between the Desert and the Ocean

A series of visitors, journeys, and concessions.

Or, life changing field trips, and the lack thereof.

    Loss in the Arena

Geonosis eats the Jedi alive, and it spits some of them back out the same way.

Obi-Wan Kenobi grieves for what is not yet lost.

Aayla Secura grieves and loses nothing.

    Elder Sisters

In the story of one sister, Ekkreth discovers an egg in the desert.

In another, Anakin begins to settle in to the past.

    Here There Be Monsters

Rex’s general reminds him of nothing so much as the ocean.

Or, as it turns out, time travel is easier to hide than the marks left by spending a decade and a half as the emperor’s executioner.

    Glittering Chains

On Christophsis, Asajj Ventress follows her master's orders, Obi-Wan Kenobi has a knee injury, and Sargent Slick awaits execution. None of this is precisely Anakin Skywalker's problem.

    But long ago,

Ekkreth was going along, not looking for trouble, and they met a woman who had forgotten where she came from. She was called Keekta Du.

In the House of the Sun

After a disastrous attempt at finding freedom in promises of a Sith Apprentice on Christophsis, Slick has been sent to Tatooine. He comes bearing gifts.

    Tales of Ryloth

Ryloth is a land of vicious predators, deep forests, and endless stone. Many paths converge there. Even Ekkreth has visited a time or two.

Three venators hang in the sky above Ryloth, a blockade in their way.
Lessu is a captured city, a Jedi comes to free it.
Two generations ago, a storyteller came to Ryloth. Her grandson has grown up free and rebelious.

    Jedi Wonders

Jedi Master Mace Windu goes to the Senate to follow a promise to its reasonable conclusion.

(Further than) the Eye Can See (there are Stars)

There is a body in Obi-Wan's arms and a body on a pyre.
There is a maze which cannot be mapped and a desert stretching beyond the horizon.
There is a boy carving stones and a girl holding a star in her palm.
There is Depur’s rage, and there are Ekkreth’s red red feathers.

    Or,
Ventress, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka walk into a sith temple.

    The Supreme Chancellor's Diary

Supreme Chancellor Palpatine does not have time in his busy schedule to keep a journal. Luckily for future historians, Ekkreth has hired a ghost writer.

Senator Amidala receives a mysterious invitation.

    bubble up, bubble away

CT-9166 has been guarding the old Jedi Temple on Verilli for almost three hours when he disobeys orders, and gets stuck with a head full of memories not his own.

    The Form of her Heart

She is satisfied. She is happy. She is Barriss Offee, Jedi Padawan and healer. She is all of these things. In one world, she is even a loyal Commander until she spends weeks pouring out her bitterness at Letta Turmond’s easy prompting. Then, well…

But with a red feathered vigilante comes a different offer, and another choice.

    This Story Can Kill You

After Ashoka is badly injured by Count Dooku, and the 501st is recalled to Coruscant for leave, Anakin has little to do but wait and worry for his student. Ekkreth's plans have ground to a halt for the moment, awaiting the next opportunity to inch the restraining bolt around the galaxy a little closer to falling off.

Over the course of two conversations, he finds it.

Darth Vader tells Count Dooku about a story.

    Summary

Cal’s gloves are ripped to shreds, from dragging himself through the ship or his fight with Trilla, it doesn’t matter, but he can feel Cere dying in his arms, her shock and pain writing themselves into the fabric of her clothes, the very air around her, and Cal feels torturously doubled, his own death fast approaching. Darth Vader is a cataclysmic event, and Cal, delirious with pain, scrambles to catch the hilt of his saber as he begins to drag it out their corpses – and that’s what he and Cere are, corpses, with only a last few seconds of misfiring neurons left in them, no matter how much BD-1 trills and punches stim after stim into his arm – they are tipping past that point of no return now, and Cal needs to do something right now before it’s too late for – for what?

    Too late for what?

(there is something strange about cal kestis)

    Summary

“Grogu’s father still hasn’t visited him,” Luke admits, “I don’t follow the old Jedi ways, Leia, his family is allowed to visit, and it’s obvious his father loves him, so why hasn’t he visited?”

Leia’s projection manages to perfectly portray her blank, Luke-you-are-the-biggest-moron-in-the-entire-kriffing-galaxy face, even through a spotty hologram. “Have you told him?”

    “Told him what?”

Leia’s palm meets her face with an audible slap.

    -

When Luke takes Grogu for training, he might have forgotten to mention a key detail to the child's unnecessarily attractive father. His solution? Travel across the galaxy to smooth over this misunderstanding, obviously.

    Summary

    Series Summary:
In which now-Emperor Vader discovered and reclaimed his children when the twins were sixteen, but Palpatine got there first.

Twelve years later, a Mandalorian makes a deal with an Imperial High Prince in order to protect his most beloved cargo.

    Anthology containing:

    through power, there is victory

Then, slipping between Stormtroopers like a living shadow, another man appears.

He’s of modest height and slim build, clad in a black cloak with the hood pulled up over his head. The energy in the room instantly changes as he steps forward, becoming weighted and charged. There’s a sense of raw deference in the way everyone watches him. When the commander from earlier steps forward and tries to speak, the man raises a gloved hand to cut him off without looking, dismissing him as easily as one of the rank and file.

    Din’s stomach bottoms out.

    -

In a galaxy under Emperor Vader’s rule, Din and Grogu are intercepted by Imperials.

only as strong as the warrior next to you

With an indolent air, Luke rests his elbows on the railing, leaning forward to better take in the action.

Below the Mandalorian is already in motion, beskar a glinting contrast to black walls and floors. Luke’s eyes trail him as he moves, bitter and gluttonous. Watching as Din takes stock of the concrete half-walls, helmet tilting upward to survey the turrets above. Exploring terrain before the simulation is initiated, his professionalism unaffected by the tension that still lingers beneath armor.

Compartmentalization is a skill Luke learned involuntarily; a way to cope with the horror that was once his daily existence. Din, by contrast, embodies the very practice of it. That rigid separation between self and other.

The Mandalorian’s inner world is so vast, Luke could get lost in it.

    -

Imperial High Prince Skywalker has taken himself a bodyguard.

The Mandalorian, and the rest of the galaxy, don’t know what’s coming for them.

    Summary

Everyone assumed that Anakin Skywalker was dead.

    But they were wrong.

Buried deep within the confines of his own dark and twisted soul whom he calls Vader, the light of Anakin Skywalker lives on.

This is the story of Anakin Skywalker coming back to the light, and of finding himself again. Of finding forgiveness, hope, and love.

This is the story of Icarus, rising.

** Initial canon-compliant exploration of the Kenobi show focusing on Obi-Wan and Anakin's feelings during the events; eventual canon-divergence for Part VI followed by an intense slow-burn romance between Obi-Wan and Anakin and a post-canon fix-it story of Vader/Anakin's redemption. **

    Summary

All of these have Dai Bendu in them; translations may or may not be given, dependant on what sort of story I'm going for, and who is the POV narrator of each one. Pragmatics of the Jedi is where I found that, so if you want to know more, or read more with that in it, I'd head over there.

    Anthology containing:

    THE FORCE WILLS DOCUMENTARY

For years, the culture of the Jedi has remained largely untouchable by the public. What is known is diluted by rumours and the wear of time.

In this series, we'll explore the origins of the Jedi Order,

    Their traditions,

    Their values and beliefs,

    And their lives.

    jaieh

jaieh: (Dai Bendu) someone who has earned the title of Mastery in the Jedi Order; a Knight who has taken on a Padawan

The Master is responsible for the Padawan's safety and education; and should the Master fall -

    ibli jetii

ibli: (Dai Dendu) small, younger, little

Ursa wasn’t a fan of the jetii. She was Mando’ad, she was their enemy, and they were her enemy. Which made finding a tiny little… thing that much weirder.

    mikodail rah'eni

mikodail rah'eni (Dai Bendu) we the Jedi, our siblings

    "What's a clan?"

"A group of Jedi around the same age who share a dorm and class times," Kanan answered, wrapping a white bandage around the mirialan's arm, pinning it into place with practiced ease. "It's essentially a small family."

"So you're like, Kanan's siblings?" Ezra asked, brightening.

    iil orhma

iil orhma: (Dai Bendu) lit. to freeze warmth

In the day, a desert is burning hot, while at night, it is freezing cold.

    netanalo

netanalo: (Dai Bendu) lit. remembrance vision; a Force echo, a glimpse into the past

The Senate had sent a child to see into the past. A Padawan, Ahsoka's age, not much older. Rex's heart pounded in his chest, climbing towards his throat, because damn the Senate, did they know how this would affect the kid, or did they just not care?

    rah kat

rah kat: (Dai Bendu) family; a collection of people who are tightly knit

“Aay’shee,” Obi-Wan murmurs into her ear, rocking her gently, like when jaieh was off on a mission she couldn’t go on, so her jaieh-raheniel would take turns having her over at their apartments.

    jire

jire: (Dai Bendu) fast; with speed; quickly

Jyn Erso, in a cave of a thousand songs, cannot find the one she came for.

    ibli rahjr

ibli rahjr: (Dai Bendu) younger, future family member(s); Foundling

"Sir?" Styles said, "Why do you have a baby?"

    "I found him."

    kewan kawa

kewan kawa: (Dai Bendu) lovely song; lullaby

Ahsoka sings, Obi-Wan sobs, and the children of the Force walk alone.

    ania

    ania: (Dai Bendu) melody

    Ahsoka stresses and Cal hums.

    zahlah

zahlah: (Dai Bendu) a story, something that you can learn from

“This is Master Cere Junda of the Jedi Order,” the message said, showing a darker-skinned woman, hair cropped short, “And I have a message for the Sith that rule our galaxy."

    ehnoct

ehnoct: (Dai Bendu) pain caused by psychic backlash of some sort

They’d discussed the excursion in detail before even considering actually going on it. Gone over their route and what to expect and what to do if they did get separated, somehow. Cal had no idea how they’d been separated in the first place, but he could feel the pounding drum of his heartbeat in his fingers and toes, and the burn of fresh tears in his eyes.
