Cody didn’t know if he wanted to cry, to fall to his knees and sob, begging for forgiveness, or if he wanted to scream, or if he wanted to rush over and hug him.

After all this time, they’d found him. It was him, he was real, he was here, standing just a few meters in front of Cody.

“You… You overthrew the Empire,” Obi-Wan said. “You restored the Republic?”

Ah. Cody had not been looking forward to getting to this point. But he refused to lie to Obi-Wan, knew that it would be better if he was upfront about this, better if he told the truth now than be caught in a lie later.

“No,” Cody said, and Obi-Wan tensed. “The galaxy was a mess, and the Republic had been so corrupt by the end that it had willingly helped the Sith form his Empire. We weren’t about to let things go on as they had been before the Empire. And besides that… When word got out that I was the one to kill the Emperor… The Imperial Senate and the public alike seemed to decide that that made me… his successor.”

Obi-Wan was hurt. He was bleeding and wouldn't wake up. Little Anakin, only recently freed from slavery, went to the cockpit of the ship to send a distress call. He took a deep breath, then, as steadily as he could, spoke into the transmitter. “We need help, please. I don’t know where we are and we need help. Is anyone there?”

The distress call was answered and it changed everything.

    Summary

Their first act of rebellion might just be their last.

They were distracted when the wrecked ship suddenly made a groaning noise. The metal whined as if something bent it, moving it. But that was not possible. It should not be possible. Both rebels froze as their eyes locked onto the origin of the noise. Blaster fire halted as everyone watched the ship with confusion and interest.

A hand punched through the rubble, catching the attention of both the troopers as well as the rebels. The figure pulled themselves up slowly, climbing out on top of the wreckage.

A copper haired humanoid man, dressed in robes and white battle armour stood on top of the rubble. The sigil on his shoulder proudly bearing the symbol of the Jedi Order which fell so long ago. With his features almost shining in the dim light, his eyes glowed blue but seemed glazed over, unseeing but drawn to the light regardless.

    That was a Jedi.

    “...General Kenobi?”

They flinched violently when the Jedi turned his gaze in their direction. Blue glowing eyes aimed in their direction but not quite on them, like the Jedi could not see them.

  6. Summary

The artifact glowed in Kenobi’s hands, consuming his entire body in a brilliant crystal blue. Dooku watched—half horrified, half entranced—as the box split open, the brush of the unifying force breathing in sync with the living. "A single touch from a single soul creates an unimaginable shift in the force," the descriptions of the artifact had uttered. The words couldn’t even begin to describe the shift in the air, the impenetrable tick of gears turning. And then, almost as soon as it began, the swirling blue light tucked itself back into the artifact with a soft hiss, leaving behind a man who was nothing like the general Dooku knew.

Standing in front of him was a young Jedi Knight who looked very much afraid.

    “Grandmaster?” Obi-Wan whispered.

Or in other words: During the late Clone Wars, Obi-Wan accidentally touches an ancient Jedi artifact, which transports his grieving Post-Naboo self into the future to take his place. Somehow this saves the galaxy.

Overall a fixit through therapy! This is a feel-good series, though there will of course be angst because my friends say that I just can't keep away from it.

    Anthology containing:

    The Thing With Feathers

“Six months?” Knight Kenobi said, staring in shock at the Zabrak council member. Eeth Koth inclined his head in conformation. He noted that Knight Kenobi’s impeccable manners had lapsed slightly, which was understandable, given the shock that Eeth’s news had likely given the humanoid.
“The head mind-healer herself wanted to address the possible trauma and PTSD that you and your Padawan may have received during this mission.” Eeth said, cursing his old Master in his mind and behind sufficient barriers. Why didn’t she just ask Master Yoda to order Knight Kenobi? Then, maybe then, Eeth wouldn’t have had to be the one to break the news. Again. Make it so, indeed, Eeth thought. “She has also asked me to inform you” curse you, Master, “that there will be nowhere to hide, so ‘best be done with it.’”

~ooor~ this author thinks that Obi-wan and Anakin both need all the hugs and therapy they can get, so here is my best approximation of a fixit series. Sorry for the tags.

    As Syllable From Sound

CLOSED TO PROMPTS - A veritable dogpile of happy feelings with elements of plot and a smidgeon of tasteful angst. :) This follows (mainly) Obi-wan and Anakin in the years between the end of their mandatory six months of being temple-bound to the beginning of Attack of the Clones.

Chapter 41: Anakin has lost Obi-wan, much to Mace's utmost dismay. Help comes from the most unexpected corners.

Teach the World that Malevolence Kills

During their second year as a team, Obi-wan and Anakin are sent to the planet Quentalrilon to oversee negotiations between a young future Queen and her discontented people.

A sequel to The Thing With Feathers, set within As Syllable from Sound

This plot is entirely original, and Quentalrilon and its people are of my own making :D

    This is the Arsenal

“Don’t do anything without first consulting myself or the Council, if I’m unavailable.” Obi-wan said. Anakin sighed but nodded. “Remember, this may be a test, but they won’t be expecting you to do this all on your own. Asking for help is its own form of wisdom.” Anakin smiled at that.
“So you’ve told me before, Prof,” he said. Anakin grasped Obi-wan’s hand in a mission-hug, but Obi-wan used that to pull his padawan – his son – into an actual hug. “Obi?”
“T’la had a bad feeling at the start of all this,” Obi-wan murmured into Anakin’s shoulder, “you’ve been having nightmares.” Anakin clutched Obi-wan back and a slight tremble ran through his hands. “Stay safe, mo phàiste. Use only the secure comms, don’t leave Naboo unless absolutely necessary for the Senator’s protection.” Anakin nodded against Obi-wan’s shoulder and they finally separated. Obi-wan had been able to gather himself while speaking into Anakin’s shoulder and smiled at the Senator."
The next installment in the series, Attack of the Clones! Will the Therapy Family come out of this unscathed? Will the clone wars begin? Find out here!

    Summary

A oneshot Fix-It series set in my alternate universe. A universe in which Anakin doesn't conceal the Tusken Massacre, recognizes his mistake, and reaches out for help. Events cascade from there.

    Anthology containing:

To Help Those Who Help Themselves

Following the discovery of the droid army and subsequent battle on Geonosis, Anakin Skywalker is left in a very horrible mental state due to the death of his mother, though his massacre of the Tusken Raiders isn't helping.

And so, after concluding that while his own emotions were justified, but his actions rather monstrous, the Chosen One makes a choice.

    He reaches out for help.

    To Honor Code & Principle

The council holds its first meeting with the Senate and the Chancellor after the Battle of Geonosis to discuss what to do about the Separatists and the Clone army.

While Shaak Ti is preoccupied with talking to Anakin, Plo sits through what may be either a productive or unproductive meeting.

And soon gets brought into the loop.

    To Converge

The clone troopers arrive to Coruscant, led by Cody and Alpha-17, as they arrive to officially join the Republic as its army.

But then they meet the Jedi, and, well, all bets are off.

    To Divulge

While the Jedi council handles the clone troopers and gets them situated, Anakin stays in his room, and decided to reach out to another of the few individuals he is close to.

    To Abstain

The Jedi Council broadcasts a message to the entire galaxy, and the galaxy reacts.

“How in the Sith-hells do these things happen to you, Kenobi? Enslaved to a Hutt on a desert backwater in the Outer Rim and you still end up raising the Chosen One and defeating the first Sith Lord anyone has seen in a millennium.”

    “Heh. Just lucky, I guess.”

In which Qui-Gon Jinn does not quite tie up all loose ends on Bandomeer, and by “loose ends” we mean the one and only Obi-Wan Kenobi, who consequently leads a very different life. He might just take this “loose ends” business pro.

    Summary

Jango Fett makes a comeback as Mand’alor during the Mandalorian Civil Wars by reviving an archaic tradition – rescuing an enemy in battle in order to wed them into one’s clan.
Such was often, in the past, how the ending of feuds began.

So he rescues Lady Satine Kryze and her Jedi Protector, Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi.

As for marrying them into his clan – well. Clan Fett is a Clan of exactly one, at the moment.
    He’s thought this through.

    Really.

Not getting more than he bargained for with two catty and lovesick teenaged revolutionaries at all.
    It’s fine.
    Things are fine.
    He is completely in control.

    (Is he, though?)
