    Summary

    Here’s the thing, Kon was objectively the correct choice. His Kryptonian DNA and lab-grown origin meant that he could speak every language fluently (including French), he was definitely available — since he did very little outside of Young Justice business — and with a little coaching he’d probably fit right in with all those art nerds.

    Subjectively, though, Kon posed an issue.

    Tim was majorly in love with him.

    OR

    An uptick in art crime leads Tim and Kon on a mission to Paris. Things get complicated when the mission begins feeling like a romantic getaway.

    A slowburn friends-to-lovers timkon fic broken into two parts: getting together, and established relationship.

    Kon’s heart felt like it was going to flutter out of his chest. To almost everyone else in the world, he was Robin — an enigma with very little known information. Batman’s sidekick and Young Justice’s leader.

    But to Kon… he was Tim. And he was bisexual. And he’d been drunk.

    It was like there was a side of Tim that Kon got all to himself. He promised Tim that he wouldn’t tell the rest of the team his name or his sexuality but it’s not like Kon really needed the encouragement. Selfishly, he liked being the only one who knew. Selfishly, he wanted to keep it that way.

    Kon had never been hornier.

    He totally understood why Tim wanted to take things slow. He fully respected letting their relationship take its time. He, honestly, was grateful for the change — it made things actually feel different from his past dumpster fire relationships.

    So yeah, he totally got it.

    What he didn’t quite get was why the hell Tim was so seemingly intent on getting him as turned on as humanly possible at every turn only to not really do anything about it.
