    Summary

    Yes, I finally did it!
A Pokemon fanfic of Ash getting serious after the Battle Frontier Arc and training before going to Sinnoh. There will be the Tauros trade and aura training.
A smarter, pokemon ranger, aura guardian Ash Ketchum.
Ash will be paired off with a guy. If you don't like it, don't read. I still don't know which. You can leave me a comment with a suggestion.

    Summary

The Kalos Incident ends in the worst case scenario. (The lost of the Chosen One is too great, it must be fixed.)

Alain travels back in time to prevent Team Flare's plan from succeeding, from Ash dying, from his own guilt.

But the road to recovery and healing is a long one.

(AKA I wanted to write a damn time travel fic and decided I was going to fix every single plot I found infuriating in Pokemon which includes adding back in the inclusion of Aura, making sure Ash didn't grab the idiot ball as soon as he reached a new region and other fun things.)

    Anthology containing:

    dripping like a saturated sunrise

    Where had it gone wrong?

His heart stuttered a beat. “Ash? Are you alright?” Silence. No… something was wrong. “Ash...?” Alain asked again, shaking him. The younger boy’s eyes remained closed, not a single breath drawn.

    -.-.-

Lumiose City is burning. Lysandre and Team Flare's plan is succeeding. Alain is... had... failed.

When offer the chance to undo it, to go back in time, Alain seizes it with both hands. He won't, can't, fail this time.

(But Alain's greatest fatal flaw is his own guilt.)

    Time Travel AU

the thrill of a future bright and brave

In which the Galar region is really not prepared to meet Ash Ketchum.

(Alain would pity them except he's too busy laughing)
(Ash: pot meet kettle! You're just as bad as me, Alain!)

Or one day, Leon meets Alain and the rest they say is history.
