Cards On The Table
Harry Potter dies. Not to worry though; Death chucks his Master into a different universe for a second chance.
Follow Harry as he tries to make the most of it, which includes sending letters, waving sticks, climbing trees, and baking one hell of a poundcake.
(Or; getting Sirius out of Azkaban, hiding his extraordinary magical power, destroying horcruxes and - well, the pound cake really is quite something.)
And that's just what happens the year before he goes to Hogwarts.
Fools In A Fable
After a year living in an alternate dimension, Harry is nicely settled in and going to Hogwarts.
It doesn't take him long to realise just how different an alternate dimension can be, though.
But flying by the seat of his pants has always worked out decently in the past, it'll probably work here, too.
