    Summary

    One friendship between two purebloods that commiserate the trials of living up to their parent's expectations during the Triwizard Tournament changes the course of the future.
    This is a series of one-shots in a Soulmate AU where Draco and Fleur are friends and it brings Draco into Harry's life in unexpected ways. Each one-shot can stand on its own, you don't necessarily need to read all of them to understand what is happening in any given fic, but if read together they spin a gut-wrenching tale of love and hate and overcoming the darker parts of yourself.

    What Friends Are For

    One friendship between two purebloods that commiserate the trials of living up to their parent's expectations during the Triwizard Tournament changes the course of the future. What happens when Draco makes a friend that doesn't hold him to the impossible standards of being a Malfoy? What happens when Fleur makes a friend that isn't secretly jealous of her?

    As a general rule of thumb for this fic, if Draco and Fleur are speaking exclusively to one another they are speaking French, so if the cadence or speech patterns feel odd that is why.

    Pre-Wedding Jitters

    Draco and Fleur had become quite close during the Tri-Wizard Tournament, and so against better judgment, she asked him to be in her wedding party. He runs into Harry the morning of the wedding and Harry seems to favor him over his ex-girlfriend, which gets him wondering. Does the Prat Who Lived have feelings for him? There is only one way to find out. Too bad the war and the bloody Dark Lord get in the way.

    Volatile Visions

    Harry just spent a magical evening dancing with someone he might very well like. He was as surprised as anyone to find that he had a soft spot for a certain blond. Then the Ministry fell and everything descended into chaos. Now Harry is seeing Draco in a whole new light- literally. A vision from Voldemort haunt's Harry as he sees what Draco is being forced into. What will become of our star-crossed lovers?

    Draco and Harry have found themselves in an odd pridicament- they're soulmates. When Draco was asked to identify them at Malfoy Manor they discovered a fledgling telepathic bond and immediately conspired to escape together. After saving everyone from the cellar, Draco, Harry, Ron, and Hermione escape through a secret tunnel and flee to Shell Cottage. Draco's friendship with Fleur helps him realize his true feelings for the Git Who Lived and they complete their soul bond in between planning a break-in at Gringotts. There is something in his Aunt's vault that his soulmate and (surprisingly enough) new friends need. There's only one problem.

    You'd have to be mad to try and rob Gringotts.

    The Calm Before the Storm

    Draco is still recovering from the shock of his life- Harry Potter is his soulmate. Now he's on some heroic mission with the Golden Trio, but not everyone is happy he is on their side. In fact, there are some that want to make sure Draco can't help Harry look for what he needs to win this war. Could being a hero be any harder?
    Not to mention the fact that they don't even know what they are looking for.
    And, for the love of the gods- can someone please turn Cho Chang into a ferret or something? She needs to be taught a lesson.
