In the depths of the Jedi Temple lie small rooms where no one living sleeps.

From time to time, incense smoke drifts from the depths of the Jedi Temple. Masters and Knights alike pause for a moment in the hallways when they smell the incense and bow their heads in grief and joy. Those who leave the rooms on those days are treated with care.

Today it is Obi-Wan’s turn to emerge from the depths of the Temple.

Or, Obi-Wan and his (almost full) family gathers to drink tea.

in our kitchen (after the war) by gingerbeer & rainsoaked_benevolence (oceans_bluem)

The Councilors’ wing in the Jedi Temple has long been suffused with serenity, peace, and harmony. Their quarters were quiet, with most Councilors choosing to sort through their memories of the day in meditation.
With the advent of the war, the wing grew quiet for a different reason. The hall was silent with mourning, not contemplation, and the doors were darkened, the rooms inside left empty for weeks at a time.
    Not so this night.

Or, (almost) all of the Jedi High Councilors (plus Ahsoka) gather to eat dinner together.

with our family (after the dust has settled) by gingerbeer & rainsoaked_benevolence (oceans_bluem)

It is a relief to have the full Council on Coruscant as they meet with the Senate about dissolving the GAR and dismantling the systems that led to Palpatine’s rise to power.

It is even more of a relief to be done with the aforementioned meetings.

“So,” says Depa, eyes flashing with excitement. “Who’s up for some mooncakes?”

Or, after the war ends (for real this time!), the (actually full!) Council gathers to eat mooncakes.
