Summary:

The Telmarines, westward of Narnia, were effectively blockaded by one hundred years of Winter; now like other nations, they want to take advantage of the new opening up of Narnia. Their arrival, and the gift and the news they bring, will plunge the new rulers of Narnia into a complex turmoil of politics, economics, culture clash, moral challenge and urgent rescue.
