Might I join you?” Qui-Gon asks politely, plopping himself down between the lot of them without waiting for permission.
He enjoys the barely concealed glances of discomfort the padawans send each other, faces scrunched oddly while trying to appear content with this development.

Obi-Wan's story on how he ended up on MeliDaan, setting up his destiny for the Mandalorians to yoink him towards a brighter future. This will be a lot shorter than the last one, and then we’ll resume our regularly scheduled adoption registration.
