Five years ago, Laura was killed. Kate, their number one suspect, disappears again, just like she did twelve years ago. So after they are put through hell again, they pick up their lives and keep going. Derek is now the Alpha, Peter is his Second. Then the Argent brood moves to town. When someone starts snooping around crime scenes and the Hale property, the pack decides to strike first & ask questions later. Turns out, the Hale pack just met the third Argent sibling. Derek feels a pull in his chest, and it's a pack bond to Stiles. He thought the young man had betrayed him along with Scott, but finding out the truth, he makes Stiles a part of his pack. Now, with the pack coming together in a healthy way, they help Stiles discover that he's not just a sidekick, but a major player, and more important than Scott had ever given him credit for.
The more Derek pulls Stiles into the pack, though, the harder it is to ignore the feelings that he's been having for the boy since they met. Stiles, on the other hand, has fallen out of love with Lydia, and can't figure out just why that happened.
To Forge a Pack
Derek Hale now has the beginnings of the Hale Pack, brought together with the help of Spark Stiles Stilinski. They took down Gerard after all his wrongdoings, and now Derek is looking at strengthening his pack.
But things are changing faster than he can control. He knows, now, that he has a chance with Stiles having come out to him, but does that mean that the other boys wants him? Is it even a chance he should take?

If Stiles ever made it back to his own time, he would never be telling Derek what he’d done. Of course, if all the pieces fell into place, he’d never have to speak of it again. As it was, he shouldn’t have even been able to perform the ritual. It was a good thing that Stiles lived to exceed expectations- especially magical ones.
How Do you Solve a Problem Like Malia?
Sometimes Stiles looked back on the life he left behind and just… cringed. They had all made so many mistakes. They had all lost so much. He wanted more than anything to give everyone in his former pack the happy endings they deserved- even the ones who had hurt him in the end. He still loved them. So far, he was off to a good start. Unfortunately, at twelve years old (physically, not mentally), there wasn’t much he could do on his own.
At this particular time, he was very focused on his memories of Malia. After eliminating the Argent threat, he was going through his mental list of pack members, making sure that all of them were on the right path. Malia was the first bump in that road.

It's fine really, he can do this, he can help the Hales while raising his son and making sure that Teddy is okay back in Scotland.
Now if only Peter could wake up from his coma so that he could give Harry a better understanding of the fire and who knows, sort out their impromptu marriage? It would be nice to at least have spoken to the man he was married to.*This is pro-trans as well as genderfluid characters. There are a few scenes where a minor character shows slight homophobia but the main characters aren't and don't allow that to continue.*

“Yeah, but, I mean, he’s an asshole,” she draws the word out nice and long, as if it takes on a different meaning depending on exactly how she says it. “No one who has ever dated or hooked up with that guy has ever had anything nice to say about him after the fact.”
“What do I care about that?”
She looks at him. It’s that all-knowing, all-seeing gaze, like the eye of Mordor. Stiles feels tiny under its wrath, so he looks away and stares down at his beer can, traces the design with his thumb. “I know you, Stiles Stilinski.”
“Not really. We only dated for, like, five months.”
With a snort, totally uncharacteristic of her and something she would never do sober, she rolls her eyes. “Gee, I wonder why.”
Hail Mary
Stiles puts his face in his hands and grits his teeth. “I hate that fucking guy,” he says, and he does. He does, he does, he does.
And what he hates the absolute most about him, more than anything else, is how much he doesn’t.
Blood Sport
Derek is going to be huge, they all say so. And if Derek is huge, then Stiles is huge, but the problem is, they may not be huge in the same way.
See, Derek will be a beloved superstar who wins games and takes his team the Super Bowl, and he’s hot and sexy and everybody wants him and wants to be around him, and they’ll put him in the Hall of Fame.
But Stiles will be considered Derek’s dead weight. He will famously be the one sabotaging his career by being gay, by making Derek think he likes boys, too, ruining the sport by bringing his sexuality into it. Stiles doesn’t know if Derek realizes this, yet, but Stiles can already see it happening.
