Summary:

Din is no stranger to pain. He’s been shot, he’s been stabbed, he’s been beaten unconscious. He’s fallen from too high and broken too many bones and more than once nearly died for no good reason.

But this… Watching the Jedi take Grogu away...

It’s like his heart has been yanked through his beskar, all his internal organs carved up and carted off, only a hollow empty ache left in that warm place where the kid had lived.

And yet this is the Way...

---
This is a story of bounties and battles, of unexpected meetings with old friends, and of the making of new allies, as Din travels the Outer Rim Systems after giving up The Child. It's a story of (unintentional) self-discovery and (accidental) fame, Din stumbling sideways into realization and revelation, as he learns what it means- for him- to walk the Way of the Mandalore.

Contains joyful reunions, action, feels, and found family, with a happy ending all around.

Post Season 2. In Character. Canon compliant.
