Harry. Harry wasn’t safe.
Harry needed to be somewhere safe this summer. He had watched Cedric die. Watched Voldemort return. Been tortured. Seen his dead parent return while he duelled the man who murdered his parents. All during a tournament he was forced into and consequently vilified for by his peers and Britain’s wizarding world.
Harry needed to be somewhere where he could be sad and angry and scared and not alone and safe.

Summary
Harry and several fellow seventh-year students who missed their final year due to the war are back for their eighth year. The school is cultivating a new atmosphere that encourages friendship among the houses. To Harry's surprise, he finds himself in the same dorm as Draco Malfoy. Harry's closest friends are unaware that he has been suffering from nightmares and struggling to take care of himself. Now, abruptly, Draco will be the first to witness this.

I don’t want to be dead!” Large wounds opened up on her face, and she started to howl and dig into his skin.
