    Summary

Team up with a teen vigilante once and you'll never get rid of him again. Helena didn't sign up for any of this.

    Anthology containing:

    Robins Don't Make Great Roommates

The first time Robin showed up in her apartment without warning, he damn near gave Helena a heart attack. It also happened the next time, and the time after that. Look, didn’t the kid have anyone else he could bother?

(Or: During Knightquest, Robin just shows up at Helena’s apartment and refuses to leave. He grows on her, kind of like mold.)

    Brothers Have the Worst Timing

Tim crashes Dick and Helena’s ill-advised one-night stand; this is awkward for everyone involved.

    Batman for Dummies

In the aftermath of the quake that shook Gotham, Helena Bertinelli takes on the mantle of the Bat. (It isn’t like Batman’s using it.) If she’d known the cowl came with a certain moralizing little bird following her around — well, she probably still would’ve done it, but it would’ve been nice to know in advance.

(Or: Tim and Helena team up 2: electric boogaloo. Now with more bats!)

  3. Summary

“Say,” Jason says, “how old are you anyway, shrimp?”

“Ten,” Tim says, but he looks away right after.

    “Ten?”

“Okay…” Tim admits. “I'm still nine. But I'll be ten in July!”

“That's six months away. You're nine.”

    “...and a half,” Tim mutters.

Jason snorts. Then he sits down on the sofa next to Tim. “Here's what's going to happen here,” he says. “I'm going to get you an Uber and I'm going to track it and make sure you get back to Bristol.”

Jason would prefer to take Tim home himself, but that puts him too close to Bruce and the others.

“You don't know where I live!” Tim protests.

Jason resists the urge to roll his eyes and says, “Tim. There is literally a house called Drake Manor next door to Wayne Manor. You have a Bristol accent. We met at a gala.”

    “Oh. Right.”

Jason rubs his temples. Kids are a nightmare. Glad he's getting rid of this one.

    ***

Jason Todd accidentally becomes a parent to the kid who's been stalking him since he came back to Gotham. Somebody's got to make sure this kid gets to be a kid.

  5. Summary

When ten year old Tim Drake is paired with the freshly adopted, thirteen year old Jason Todd for a school project, he is ecstatic. He just hopes he can keep his inner fanboy under control. At the same time, his parents’ trips are increasing in length, and Tim is handling it like a champ! Who needs parental supervision? Not him! Although, a little company might be nice…

Meanwhile, Jason is still half convinced that his adoption is an elaborate human trafficking scheme, but this Robin gig is pretty cool. And his new school may be full of rich jerks, but the neighbor kid isn’t too bad. Having an adult trying to take care of him is a bit of an adjustment, but one he might just be able to get used to.

    Summary

A series where Jason never dies, but the Waynes’ weird neighbor kid gets strung along for the ride all the same.

(Alternatively: that one series where Tim Drake gradually develops a file at Gotham General as thick as a phonebook because he's quite possibly the Unluckiest Boy in the World.)

5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home by motleyfam

    Tim is good at galas.

No, scratch that—Tim is great at galas. He’s been attending them ever since the age of three, when his parents first stuffed him into his little Gymboree tuxedo and gave him a stern lecture about ‘sitting quietly’ and ‘speaking when spoken to.’ He knows all the rules: what to wear, how to stand, when to smile, what to say, what not to say. He knows how to come across as polite and intelligent and charming, and on absolutely any other day, he would be rocking this.

    ---

Or, my take on a ‘Tim Joins the Family Early’ AU, told through a series of sleepovers—most of which are unplanned.

Featuring pre-teen Tim, Alive!Jason, and a whole lot of hurt/comfort.

    Gala-Bye by motleyfam

    Jason Todd hates galas.

Bruce Wayne loves his ridiculous son.

    Mess of Me by motleyfam

    Jack takes him trick-or-treating.

Tim is dressed in a simple black bodysuit with a white skeleton printed on top. He’d wanted to go as a stormtrooper—it’s all he’s been talking about at school for weeks, ever since he first saw the films—but his parents didn’t get the chance to pick up a costume until late that afternoon, and the options at Halloween City at four p.m. on October 31st are a bit sparse.

(It was this or a gigantic carrot, and even at seven years old, Tim has some dignity to maintain.)

    ---

Poor Timmy isn't having the best of Halloweens.

Shoot from the Hip by motleyfam

Objectively, this time isn’t even that bad. The bullet really only grazed his side. The mark it left is long and gnarly-looking, and he’s sure it’s going to bruise like a bitch tomorrow, but the actual damage to his flesh is pretty superficial. A saline wash, a quick row of stitches, a sterile dressing, and a couple painkillers, and he should be good to go.

…Which is why Dick neglects to mention this extremely minor injury during his usual post-patrol check-in with Agent A.

    By Necessity by motleyfam

An alternative ending to chapter 4 of 5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home.

(AKA, the part where there’s an ice storm and a massive tree limb takes out the Drakes’ living room window.)

    Kansaws by motleyfam

    Tim blinks.

Batman has a buddy with a chainsaw??

(A short drabble expanding on Chapter 4 of 5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home)

Man of the House by motleyfam

Yet another alternative ending to chapter 4 of 5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home.

(AKA, the part where there’s an ice storm and a massive tree limb takes out the Drakes’ living room window.)

Is All Anger Sin? by motleyfam

Now, Jason likes Tim, don’t get him wrong, but that kid’s got the self-preservation instincts of a wet paper towel. And not even the premium paper towels Alfred buys at Costco—that cheap shit you get at the Dollar Tree. The kid’s basically allergic to asking for help, and it’s fucking sad, okay?

Case in point, the fact that he’s currently bleeding all over the damn floor and still insisting that they don’t bother Bruce.

    Well fuck that shit.

    Reverse Psychology by motleyfam

Jason leans back, crossing his arms over his chest. “Well, what if we don’t want you to clean up?”

    Tim just blinks at him.

(An alternative ending to one of the scenes in chapter 5 of 5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home.)

    First Watch by motleyfam

“I have a pretty bad headache, so I think I just want to go to bed.”

Like any good excuse, Tim’s claim is simple, succinct, and rooted in a half-truth; his head does hurt, though he wouldn’t really call it ‘bad’—it’s hurting about the normal amount for someone who’s spent the last eight hours as a tightly coiled ball of anxiety. It should have worked perfectly.

Unfortunately for Tim, he just forgot one small fact: that the Waynes are literally the most dramatic people on the planet.

Where Blame is Due by batmoniker & motleyfam

Jason rides in the ambulance with Tim.

He doesn’t think he’s allowed to, technically, since he isn’t family and both of them are minors, but he’s not about to take no for an answer. Luckily, or perhaps frighteningly, the paramedics are too busy to argue with him. They’re barking orders back and forth to each other, rattling off vitals, running IV and oxygen lines, applying cooling blankets. Tim’s temperature is over 105 degrees and his blood pressure is dangerously low. They’re worried about seizures.

They’re also worried about organ failure.

    –--

The immediate aftermath of Jason finding Tim in the final chapter of 5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home, told from three different points of view.

A Jumbo Miscalculation by justbeyondstars & motleyfam

Suddenly a new voice, gruffer, deeper, says, “What are you doing?” and Tim goes cold all over. That’s Bruce. That’s Bruce speaking a full sentence for the first time today and of course it’s when Tim is hurling his guts out in the bathroom and didn’t want him to know about it.

    Shit.

“Picking the lock,” Jason says, like it’s obvious. “Didn’t think you’d appreciate me breaking the door down. I can, if you want. I am absolutely fine with that option actually.”

    –--

Bruce is in a bad mood after a case doesn’t go entirely to plan, and Tim is determined not to do anything to make it worse.
(Unfortunately, his shrimp allergy didn’t get that memo.)

    DANton-ten-six by motleyfam

Ten weeks into Tim’s new foster placement with the Waynes, he wakes up feeling kind of lousy.

His stomach started hurting sometime after dinner the night before, which he initially chalked up to the heaviness of Alfred’s chicken fettuccine; that man does not skimp on the heavy cream. It’s why he only ever makes it when Dick—the family’s resident lactose intolerant dumbass, as Jason so lovingly puts it—is confirmed to be staying in Bludhaven for the evening.

(Not that it ever works. Dick’s been known to sniff out leftovers from the fridge days later like a bloodhound, consequences to his delicate digestive system be damned.)

    Anyway...

    Summary

Tim wakes up inexplicably in his two-year-old body. Which: odd. But just think, how many people would kill to have an opportunity to redo their life! And Tim has so much he wants to change, so much he wants. He wants to feel important to Bruce. He wants to be Dick's favorite. He wants Jason (his childhood hero) to think he's cool. He wants Damian to need him. And really, is it manipulation if his family benefits from it?

Or: He was halfway through the second trash can, when a startled “Good lord” caught him off guard. Tim glanced up, the rhythmic sucking of his pacifier coming to a still at the sight of a black Rolls Royce idling at the side road that lead to Wayne Manor. Alfred was staring at him from the over the car top, aghast. “Master Bruce, it’s not a raccoon.”

From the back seat, Bruce Wayne stared at him. Tim stared back.

Or: Tim is side tracked by his actual childish needs and wants, gets a whole bunch of his nannies fired, terrorizes his parents with a series of petty revenges, is an honest employer of one (1) newly minted murderer for hire, endears himself to – and thoroughly weirds out – the Waynes, and is generally just a petty, manipulative, vindictive, smol boy.

  11. Summary

When they accidentally cause trouble for the wrong mob boss, Jack and Janet Drake come up with a completely flawless plan: return to Gotham to retrieve their son, fake the deaths of their entire family, then flee to Belgium. Tim can see a number of issues with this, mainly that (1) it's the stupidest thing he's ever heard, (2) his parents are definitely lying to him about something, and (3) Belgium. With all to play for, it's now up to Tim to create a believable narrative and avoid getting caught by any means necessary - even if that means traumatising the odd vigilante or two. He's willing to do whatever it takes to protect his family.

“Tim said you stopped giving him an allowance because he was failing Calculus.”

    Jack turned to him, bewildered.

Their lawyer reads it and hums. “This allows a guardianship role to be awarded to Mr.Wayne.” She explains it simply. “Wayne Enterprises is in the heart of the capital, it is the most influential building and young Mr.Drake will be working under its CEO. It is a cautionary clause for your son so that in the case that something were to happen that there is an adult available to make decisions on Mr.Drake’s behalf. Anthology containing:

    Once Upon A Kidnap Dreary

According to a certain Dick, kidnapping was a right of passage for the wards of Wayne. An initiation, as it were, to the life style of the rich and famous.

Jason hadn’t believed him. Or, hadn’t believed that he would ever be stupid enough to get kidnapped in the first place. Dick might be an idiot who would hop into any van labeled Free Candy but Jason was smarter. Street smart and, these days, book smart too. He knew to kick nuts first, ask questions never and not look back even once. Gotham might not be the trafficking capitol of the world, but it was dangerously close to being the trafficking capital of America and he wasn’t about to become a statistic.
