    Summary

At 27, Tim has been CEO of WE for a decade. Having hit a point where he will no longer tolerate the lack of acknowledgement, appreciation, or respect for his boundaries, he leaves. Upon reaching the universe next door, which is years back on the timeline, he takes the obvious first steps: steal an inconvenient amount of money from Lex Luthor, backstop himself a fake identity... as himself, seek therapy, and blackmail his mother for custody of her son. Along the way, he cannot help but bring himself to the attention of the JLA, much of Gotham society, and Vicki Vale. Nothing could possibly go wrong with any of this.

Meanwhile, the Batfam--and others--Tim left behind has to figure out where things went wrong, and why it was easier for him to cut and run.

“Uh-huh. Sure. Okay.” Peter doesn’t know if it’s better to believe the stalker or not. “And what’s your deal, Tim? Why are you squatting on my fire escape like a raccoon?”

    “I don’t know.”

    Peter waits. “...You don’t know.”

“Not really. I just — ended up here.” Tim’s brow furrows. “You’re the only one who can see me, aren’t you?”

Or: Peter Parker is being haunted by an amnesiac ghost named Tim — who may or may not have once been a hero.

  8. Summary

The holidays are Tim's most favorite time of year.

He doesn't mean that like most people mean it, where they say "holidays," but they really only celebrate the one, and all the others are just happening at the same time. Tim celebrates ALL the holidays.

He's usually very good at keeping the various family tradition stories straight, too. He's been Jewish; he's been Christian; he's been pagan; he's been Muslim. Sometimes all at the same time. But this year...well, this year the Waynes are suddenly getting involved, and Tim starts to realize how hard it is to keep stories straight and less-than-stellar upbringings hidden when people are actually listening to you.

It's weird, Tim decides. And he's not sure he likes it.

(A year in the life of Tim Drake, as told through the various holiday parties of the Gotham elite.)
