Summary
When the door jingles closed, a voice murmurs, “hey.”
Luke jolts and turns around. His eyes widen, a hand on a racing heart. He drinks in Ezra sipping soda on his motorcycle. Alone.
“What,” Luke shakes his head, dropping his hand, “what are you doing?”
Ezra sips his soda loudly through a bendy straw. “I wanted to see if you were okay. You seemed upset.”

A Poor Man's Hero by Capucine
Fandoms: Batman (Comics), Batman - All Media Types, DCU, Young Justice (Cartoon)
26 Sep 2017
Summary
What if Batman became Batman without all the gobs of cash? What if he was a guy who started out impoverished, as a child, and saw his parents die due to violence, and vowed to protect other people from such things happening to them?
This Bruce Wayne isn't a rich businessman or famous. He owns a martial arts dojo, and that barely keeps his nose above water. And then he takes in foster kids on top of that.
But this Batman is just as relentless in his pursuit of justice as his rich counterpart. Will he be able to successfully pull it off as part of society and not above it? Will his lack of funds prove disastrous, or his obviously less sophisticated background make him more of a target for the GCPD?
And what about the Robins, the Batgirls, and so on?
These are drabbles about their lives, all interconnected, all with varying levels of humor and angst and fluff.

between the click of the light and the start of the dream by thepsychicclam

Summary
A twig snaps, and then Stiles hears breathing and the rustle of leaves. He strains to get a better glimpse into the darkness, but it’s pointless. There’s nothing but a black void.
It's Stiles' senior year, and he's trying to concentrate on normal things - like the lacrosse championship, spring break, prom, graduation (and definitely not Derek) - when he starts having nightmares and waking up in the middle of nowhere. Oh yeah, and he's being haunted by a hag. Great.
