Summary
An alternate version of Tim getting back in the Robin costume after his dad forces him to quit. Mostly because Robin doesn't seem to want to quit Tim.

Jack's stomach gave an odd little flutter. There it was again, that strange non-expression Tim tended to fall into whenever he thought he wasn’t being observed anymore. Like the happy face he'd worn all afternoon was a mask; that he hadn't actually enjoyed spending the afternoon together like Jack had thought.
That warranted further exploration, so he followed after Tim so they could talk.
Tim's door wasn't completely closed, so the sound of voices coming from the room hit his ears just before he opened it further.
Jack decided to listen in.
Clearing the Air
Jack shifted in his chair, the hard seat pressing uncomfortably against the back of his thighs. Or perhaps it wasn’t and he was just focusing on something other than the challenging conversation at hand. "I, uh, have a confession to make. I followed you upstairs last night because… never mind why, but I want you to know I overheard your conversation with your friend, Conner."
There was a faint look of surprise on Tim’s face. "Huh, I didn’t think you’d admit it."
Fishing and Fighting
One week had passed since Jack and Tim had their talk and the two Drake men were still trying to find their footing around each other. It wasn't easy, but they were making progress.
General Mayhem
Contentedly dozing as Tim expertly drove them home, Jack didn't notice anything was out of the ordinary, not until Tim said, "What the?" and then the wheels of their car abruptly left the road.
That woke Jack right up in a hurry. Especially when the rapid, but somehow still smooth, acceleration pushed him back firmly into his seat. Jack panic-grabbed and held onto his armrests as he asked with forced calm, "Tim, what is going on?"
