Summary
No one, not even Morgana, knew why Akira’s power was so different from everyone else’s. Akira didn’t really mind the whole “learn as you go” approach, but as Igor granted him more power, he started to feel strange side effects – random fits of anger, melancholy, mania – without any obvious source. In a fit of inexplicable rage, he storms into Mementos on his own, only to be saved by another persona-user wearing a black and purple body suit…
Forming a tentative alliance, they delve into Mementos to discover the source of their strange, shared power, and begin to unravel a vast conspiracy, the cogs of which were set in motion long before Akira ever came to Shibuya.

Summary
All Goro Akechi wanted was to be a well-respected detective. If that meant enduring a slew of meaningless fluff cases assigned by the higher-ups, so be it. If it meant spending his free time chasing after baseless rumors about a high school gang of self-described "social reformers", fine.
Except the rumors aren't so baseless after all, and as he attempts to catch these 'Phantom Thieves' in an actual, documented act of wrongdoing, he finds himself becoming entangled with the gang more deeply than he ever intended - all thanks to their leader, who decided to take a special interest in him. An obnoxiously flirtatious interest.

Summary
Despite everything, Akira Kurusu cannot keep himself from meeting with Goro Akechi, even if he has to do it behind the Thieves' backs. On paper, their fates are destined to oppose each other... but Akira has no intention of betraying his team OR of abandoning Akechi. When you come to love so many people, you grow compelled to fight for them, despite all odds.
A look at the events of the game if only Akira had reached out to Akechi, just a bit more, in spite of the Phantom Thieves.
