There are some caveats, there may be some fine print and there may even be some outright differences neither of them knew would be there, but neither cares anyway. Whatever may come is bound to be better than what they had left behind - they had had to die to get their second chance. Is their new journey truly against the odds? Do the odds even matter? Ugh, no one really cares, certainly not Daphne nor Harry. Neither of them had counted upon being alive long enough to even attempt their journey through dimensions to begin with. Given that, both of them see themselves as having already beaten the odds and as being ahead of the game no matter what else comes their way.

This story will mainly be set on Earth in the BTVS world. It takes place after season 8 of Stargate but before season 9 begins. Basically, when Daniel Jackson is preparing to join the Atlantis expedition is the timeline for Stargate. The timeline for Buffy is season 5, right when Joyce begins to get ill.
This story centers around Joyce's poor health making her worry for her girls' futures. She and Buffy have just figured out that Dawn was the Key and made from Buffy. In my story, Buffy tells her right after she figures it out. Worried for their future, Joyce contacts their biological father, Daniel Jackson. He will meet his daughters and discover the Earth is much more dangerous than he ever imagined. Most SG-1 characters will make an appearance. This was the first Stargate story I wrote, so please forgive errors in SG-1 storyline.
Rebirth: A Stargate Tale by Buffyworldbuilder
This story follows "The Slayer's New Hope" and starts in the Pegasus Galaxy where Buffy awakes in time to meet a man running from the Wraith. Daniel and the rest of the Scoobies are now in Colorado as the story gives equal time to them and SG-1.
This is set during the end of season 1 in Stargate Atlantis. Obviously, it’s after season 5 of BTVS.

Summary
No species is all good or all evil. The tok'ra like to believe they are the "good" side of the onac race--the symbiotes who developed into the goa'uld. However, the tok'ra never mention Shamash or Samas, the ancient Sumerian god who was really one of the early queens. She (or really Samas prefers to be called a he) remembers the onac before the corruption of Ra, and he tried to lead his people back to a life in the water. He failed. However, thousands of years later, one gunnery sergeant on a suicide mission stumbled into a South American river, and Samas found he had another chance. The SGC and later Atlantis gave Samas a chance to save his people and make a few changes for the better in this universe. Samas once allowed Ra to take everything away from him. This time Samas is going to make sure his people are strong enough to stand up to any enemy. And to serve that end, he's going to make sure that those that he trusts--Tony, John, Rodney, Teyla, Ronon, Elizabeth, Major Teldy, Radek, Miko, Kyli and others--have the power to combat anyone who tries to take Atlantis from them.

With John back at the helm, Atlantis is developing into a thriving city-state. However, the Wraith are still a threat. When Todd and Michael and the other Wraith characters start making their appearances, the ability of the Igigi queen to communicate on their level changes everything. For example, other Wraith do have a name for Todd--Guide of Old. Oddly, Wraith give Colonel Sheppard the exact same name.

Atlantis is having a quiet spell, no big disasters, no serious story arcs. It gives a few of our couples a chance to indulge and it allows time for the lines of power to settle into their new channels.
