  1. Summary

There’s enough light from the waning moon that he can pick out the upturned face and glittering green eyes as Damian nuzzles against his chest.

“What?” He asks groggily, because this isn’t normal, he thinks. Not normal at all. He’s still very tired, and his brain, once it has already tasted sweet oblivion, is unhappy to be forced to turn back on. “Damian? What’s-”

A whole hand lands on his mouth and presses down. Hard.

  4. Summary

There was a coldness in Damian, like a block of ice had frozen in his veins and oxygen was no longer getting carried to his vital organs.

He felt crippled, attacked, most of all he felt…shamed.

Or in which Damian's years of obsessing over Tim have shifted his feelings but it turns out that it's not in a way the rest of the family would've liked.

    Summary

Parts one through three constitute the main series and are intended to be read in order.

Part four is a collection of oneshot what-if scenarios, each chapter spinning off from the main series at various points. The chapters can be read in any order, but most will not make sense without having read at least part one of the main series.

Parts five onward are all standalone what-if scenarios and can be read separately from the rest of the series.

    Enjoy! :D

    Anthology containing:

    Where's My Goddamn Dinosaur?

Tim closes his eyes, calculating. Based on the energy involved for a one week reset, he’s looking at a minimum displacement of about five years for the copy. His eyes sting as he fully grasps that if this works, one Tim will get to reunite with his friends and family, hold them and speak to them again, and work together to unleash all the contingencies and strategies he’s come up with to kick those invading alien assholes the fuck out, and the other Tim, the copy… won’t. He’ll wake up somewhen, isolated and traumatized, without friends, family, or any allies at all.

Well, shit. Whatever, at least Other Tim will know it worked. And he’s never minded the idea of sacrificing himself to save others. He confirms the calibration of the device, and pushes the big red button. Of fucking course there’s a big red button, supervillains are so predictable.

His last thought as the lights explode in his head and he tastes color is I hope computers are a thing whenever Other Tim lands. I’d hate to be put on trial for witchcraft. Fuck it, if I overshoot I’m gonna ride a goddamn dinosaur. Hell. Yes.

    Let's Relish This Moment

Timmy dives, knowing he’s too late even as everything in his being screams for him to be just a little bit faster, just that fractional amount better that he has to be, needs to be if he’s going to be able to save Damian…

This is NOT as serious and angsty as the summary makes it sound, WOW that's misleading. And yet, I'm not going to change it…

    Love's Like a Batarang

The other Bruce narrows his eyes at Batman, clearly judging and finding him wanting. “As we both know, traveling directly between our universes would disrupt their stability. It took me some time to develop a workaround, or I would have given you this much sooner.”

He telegraphs nothing, which is why Batman has no time to react or dodge the solid punch that knocks him clean off his feet and onto the hard Cave floor, jaw on fire.

    Where's My Goddamn Dinosaur What-Ifs

“Timothy and his partner will be taking care of you from now on.” Janet Drake addresses the now-sleeping baby in Talia’s arms as though perfectly convinced she will somehow both absorb and understand what the woman is saying.

Watching this, I’m suddenly understanding a lot more about my childhood.

“The fuck is goin’ on here? Jesus fuckin’ Christ, don’t tell me we got a kid now, Prettyboy. I just stopped on the way home to pick up the damn groceries. I was not gone long enough for you to somehow conceive and gestate our child.”

    Where's My Goddamn Happy Ending?

Jason opens his eyes, instantly knowing something’s different because his arms are empty. His heart wrenches in his chest because Tim’s not there anymore.

He’s on his knees in the Cave and it only takes him a few seconds to spot the case with his tattered old murder-suit in it like a fuckin’ macabre trophy on display. With a rising sense of indignation, he realizes he is definitely not the Jason who was sent one week into the past to save the world and get the Timmy.

He’s the other one. Well, shit. Jason scowls. Where’s my goddamn happy ending?

Too Damn Late (Right on Time)

It’s really weird that Dick is not quite twenty years old right now compared to Tim’s seventeen, soon to be eighteen. He seems so much younger than he did the first time around, when a twelve year old Tim tracked him down and tried to convince him to go back to being Robin.

Dick has already surprised him by seemingly accepting his wild story about time travel. Well, hopefully he’ll be willing to go out on even more of a limb now.

Now, how best to phrase this? Jason’s his dead little brother—I have to find a way to tell him my plan delicately.

“Hey Dick,” Tim says, and then freezes as his mind abruptly goes blank. He stares at Dick, who returns his gaze expectantly. He opens his mouth and blurts out, “How are you at gravedigging?”

    Falling Through the Multiverse

Tim wakes up in the Cave and opens his eyes. He glances around, his heart seizing at what he sees. The cup of coffee Alfred set at his elbow earlier is gone. Based on the undisturbed layer of dust which blankets the surface of the desk, it looks like it was never there in the first place.

“No,” he whispers, throat tightening. This isn’t right.

The feeling that he is somewhere else, somewhere he isn’t supposed to be, grows exponentially as he takes in a hundred tiny differences in his surroundings, from the level of the Batcomputer tech to the contours of the chair he’s sitting in. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

He realizes with a growing sense of horror that if he’s fallen into a new universe again—this time without the impetus of having recently activated the device—then there’s no guarantee it won’t happen again. And again.

    Oh, god.

  9. Summary

Damian has relied on his body through out his life- so when he suddenly feels as if he is no longer in control of it, due to his new dose of suppressants, he goes out of his mind. Fed up with it, and the fact that no one seems to care how miserable he is, he does away with them. With a lose of the medication though, he's thrust into a sudden heat, and turns for help to the last person he would have thought willing to be intimate with him.

    Tim.

But things are never as simple as Damian hopes, and he's left with a tie to Tim that he can't sever. Worse, it's a tie his grandfather has a keen interest in- and what Ra's Al Ghul wants, Ra's Al Ghul gets. With it up to him to protect Damian, Tim has to step up and take control of the situation by whatever means necessary- and ultimately, decide if what he and Damian have can be repaired, and if the future is a possibility for them.
