Socius Anthology
Lightsider
Summary:
Socius - Latin, meaning comrade, friend, ally.
Dick Grayson struggles with depression. He tries not to let it affect his friends and allies, but it creeps in. He won't bring others down with him, so he smiles through his pain.
Anthology containing:
The Pancake Predicament
On his second Father's Day at Wayne Manor, Dick decides to make pancakes.
-or-
The reason Dick's not allowed unsupervised kitchen use, which isn't fair. The pancakes were delicious, and he was 10!
Parental Involvement
Illuvien requested Tim with his family and fluff.
I've taken great liberties with Jack and Janet Drake. Honestly, they are probably more similar to an OC than anything in comics.
The Infamous Discow
Dick gets a new costume, and Bruce forgets to look at the date.
Three Times Nightwing Adopted Jason Todd before Batman
In the YJ universe, Dick is still at home when Jason joins the Wayne family. What happens if Nightwing found Jason stealing tires first?
This is a part of my Incomitatus universe, but you don't need any familiarity with that fic for to understand this one.
First Impressions
The first time Jason Todd meets Wonder Woman, he attacks her.
-or-
Jason meets a warrior angel, gets a new nickname, and a favorite superhero.
Anger Management
After being grounded for the first time since moving into Wayne Manor, Jason hides away in his room. Dick isn't going to let his brother suffer in silence.
Study Dates
Barbara Gordon and Jason Todd both love reading. Dick doesn't understand why they would choose a book over his lovely presence.
Death Would Not Stop For Me
Eight months ago, Wally West pulled Dick Grayson off the Brooklyn Bridge. Dick promised up and down that it would never happen again...but now Dick's lost his brother, and Wally isn't sure Dick is going to keep that promise.
Or...the Amazon mission.
Incomitatus
After the invasion, Dick just needs time to process on his own. Unfortunately, Bruce has been overprotective since Jason's death, and Tim notices more than he should, so Dick pushes everyone out. He should feel guilty - he just feels numb.
And Here You Are Living
Sequel to Incomitatus! *Title Changed*
As Dick returns to the Bludhaven Police Academy, he still struggles with negative thoughts and his changing desire to stay alive, but he's living with Jason now, and that should help him move forward. Only Jason hasn't been the same since the incident with M'gann. There's something up with Tim, but the teenager isn't talking. Dick's pretty positive that Cassandra is the child Bruce always wanted. Speaking of Bruce, he hasn't talked to the man since he left the note on the Batcomputer, and Alfred's expecting him Sunday...
TW: Frank discussions of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicide idealization. This is a fic where people get better, but recovery isn't a line, so there will be ups and downs.
A Reclutant Flight
Dick and Tim are fighting. Somehow, this is Jason's problem.
Fluff prompt request for Tim and Jason bonding, which I turned angsty.
The character dynamics probably will not make a ton of sense if you haven't read the rest of the series.
