  1. Summary

Bilbo Baggins had made his peace, accepted his regrets, and was ready for death even though the ones that he would call family were beyond his reach. Such was the reality for a Hobbit who had fallen in love with a King that had died before his time and made a family from a mismatched group of questing Dwarrow. He never expected what happened next could have been possible, but he wasn't about to back down either. He had the challenge of making this right this time, and perhaps there were more surprising events waiting for him. Only time would tell and Bilbo had more than enough patience to wait and see.

  2. Summary

    From a Hobbitkink prompt:

The battle was over, and Thorin Oakenshield awoke, naked and shivering, in the Halls of his Ancestors.

The novelty of being dead fades quickly, and watching over his companions soon fills him with grief and guilt. Oddly, a faint flicker of hope arises in the form of his youngest kinsman, a Dwarf of Durin's line with bright red hair.

(Follows the story of the War of the Ring).

(Bagginshield, Gimli/Legolas) In which recovery takes time, the dead members of the Company take to watching Gimli as though he’s a soap opera, the living struggle with being left behind, Legolas is confused, Khuzdul is abused, and Thorin is four feet and ten inches of guilt and anger.

    Summary

Bilbo Baggins had walked this earth a total of eight times in his past. He did remember them all, in some form or another, though he could rarely recall their names or faces, or very much detail about their lives at all. He always remembered their deaths, though. And he always remembered how it was someone – a well-meaning wizard, for instance – that had shown up and enticed or blackmailed him away from his home and family to go off and die for the good of the world.

Much like what was happening now.

Or: How the dragon soul of Bilbo Baggins made a deal with Manwë and can't seem to escape the consequences, and Thorin Oakenshield looks far too much like one of Bilbo's dead husbands.

  4. Summary

The dragon is vanquished and the Mountain reclaimed, but the Company of Thorin Oakenshield has never been in greater peril. With war brewing on the horizon and madness spreading like wildfire, Kíli makes a decision that will change the course of history...

Inspired by the following quote from 'The Hobbit': "So grim had Thorin become, that even if they had wished, the others would not have dared to find fault with him; but indeed most of them seemed to share his mind-except perhaps old fat Bombur and Fili and Kili."

    Summary

In Goblin Town, Thorin offers himself in Kili's place to protect his nephew from torture. However, Goblins are not that easy to fool and even when the Goblin agrees to the substitution it is not enough to prevent Fili and Kili's participation or to save them from mental scarring. In the aftermath of what happened in Goblin Town, tensions that had been simmering between the three for nearly seven decades come to a head. Even though they survived the goblins, will things ever go back to how they were before? Or will things remain irreparably broken?

    Summary

When Bilbo ran out his door, he expected a merry adventure, there and back again. He expected the world to be a much smaller place with much less in it. He expected himself to stay a respectable Baggins of Bag End--and most of all, he expected home to stay securely waiting for him.

Detailed content warnings at the beginning of every chapter. THIS IS NOW AN ABANDONED WIP, but plot notes and a portion of an unfinished chapter are posted at the end of the fic.

  10. Summary

    “I just wish…”

    “What do you wish?”

“I wish I could have changed it all.”

For years Bilbo has written about his adventures and told stories about his dealings with dwarves and dragons. To most it seemed like fanciful nonsense but to Bilbo it was all very real. A weight followed him home from his travels, one called regret. Now in his final moments Bilbo has a choice to make – go quietly into death’s embrace or go back again and face all the fear and pain for the chance to make things right?

Of course, change is a fickle thing and not everything can be done again as Bilbo is about to find out. In the end, it may not only be salvation that he’s fighting for.

  12. Summary

"He whittles for the widow and her child; his sweet, sad widow," said Bombur smugly. "How is she his widow if he's still alive?" Bilbo wondered. "Because she's not my widow," Bofur cut in. "She's a widow. I have no claim to her, or anyone."

    Summary

This is the 'Hobbit Sex Lottery' story which arose from my wondering aloud on Tumblr, shortly after seeing The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey for the first time, whether anyone had written dwarves-on-hobbit orgy fic yet. I was astonished at the eager response to something I'd chiefly meant as a joke, so I wrote... this. It has grown far, far beyond the original concept and has been very kindly received. Lots of affectionate filthy sex, occasional forays into character exploration, and more Thilbo and Bilbofur than you can shake an Oakenshield or a mattock at.

  15. Summary

Once royalty, then a crime empire, the line of Durin now ekes out a living in an old apartment building on the edges of an underworld ready to see them fall.

Thorin, having seen his grandfather and father killed, has an ever burning desire for vengeance and to see their fortunes restored, while Smaug would prefer to see the job he started decades ago finally finished. Fili, while apperciating his duty to his family, would really rather attend the college classes he pays for and Bilbo Baggins...

Well he wasn't really expecting any of this.

    Summary

Bilbo finds out that dwarves have zero concept of anal sex or rimming and winds up having to explain it to Thorin, to his great embarrassment. Later, the explanation gets more in-depth and eventually gives both Bilbo and Thorin more than they bargained for.

This began as a comical smut one-shot but eventually took on a life of its own as a massive Bagginshield vs Kilbo love triangle. It has become a tale of love, pining, heartbreak, family, and sacrifice. But there is still smut. I'm still me, damnit.

This was written pre-Desolation of Smaug, based on the film version of The Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit text
