  1. how to fake-date a hero (hero license optional) by

    Summary

Izuku is fresh out of Hero school, back in Japan, and fighting to make a name for himself in the face of the HPSC's bullshit. Almost getting arrested for vigilantism after a midnight conbini run was not in his plans. Nor was fake-dating the responding hero.

“I am not fake-dating Todoroki Shouto!” Izuku yelled into his phone, his voice pitchy with denial.
“Why not? It’d be good for both of you,” Ichiko said, like it was a perfectly sane idea to propose.
The problem with having a hypercompetent friend for a PR manager was that, well, she was hypercompetent. And when she came up with an idea as insane as fake dating Todoroki Shouto, it actually sounded sensible somehow. It would, in fact, help Izuku’s popularity and ranking and even his campaign to finally get HPSC sign-off on his license. And it would, in fact, probably help Todoroki Shouto to have a whirlwind romance for a few months, if only to be something other than Endeavor’s perfect heir for a little while. A win-win situation for both of them.
There was just the teensy-weensy problem of fake dating Todoroki Shouto. Which was, of course, absolutely fucking ridiculous. And insane. And unthinkable!

    Anthology containing:

    Thanks for Saving Me

"You saved my life," Todoroki says.

Izuku freezes. Then he looks up. Todoroki Shouto is staring at him, his eyes calm but wide, dust and soot all over his face. His perfect, handsome face. He's more beautiful in person than Izuku could have imagined.

"You just saved all of us," Todoroki says again. "What's your name?"

"M-Midoriya," Izuku chokes out. "Midoriya Izuku."

    Todoroki nods. "Midoriya. Thank you."

    --

Midoriya Izuku is a university sophomore, a fanboy, quirkless. On the list of things he is not: a hero.

That's why he's more surprised than anyone when he rescues Todoroki Shouto, his favorite pro hero, from a deadly villain attack. His actions fling him into the media spotlight, grabbing the attention of the entire country, including Todoroki himself. But Todoroki actually wants to get to know him past the headlines.

Izuku finds himself living a story straight out of a fairy tale, one where the mysterious, handsome prince is played by the real-life superhero he has always admired. But Izuku is convinced he's the ugly duckling, not the swan; could he ever be remarkable enough to get his happily ever after?

    Thanks for Texting Me

Todoroki: There was a girl trapped inside. He went back to rescue her.
Todoroki: And then he saved my life, too.
    Sero: what lol
    Uraraka: oh my gosh?????
    Kaminari: ?????????
    Ashido: ??????????
Iida: How? He was just a civilian!
    Todoroki: uh
    Todoroki: Science?
    Sero: ………
Kaminari: …are you gonna expand on that more or
    Todoroki: It was badass.

    --

Of course the hottest topic of gossip in the Class A group chat after a civilian saves Shouto's life is "Just who was that little green dude and why is Todoroki so fixated on him?" As his loyal former classmates, they cannot rest until they find out.

[Or: Todoroki's POV during the events of "Thanks for Saving Me", uncovered through texts with friends.]

    Summary

“I want to make a proposal to you.” He finally takes his eyes off the screen of the laptop and turns completely towards them, making a graphic visible. “This graph demonstrates that being part of a superhero couple considerably increases the popularity of heroes, even those in queer relationships. You two could pretend to be in a relationship, it would be beneficial for both.”

Amidst the frantic world of heroes, hero number three Shouto Todoroki and hero number one Izuku Midoriya receive an unexpected proposal: to fake a relationship. The idea is simple — maintain their popularity in the hero ranking even while coming out as queer, something that could pressure the Japanese government and open doors for future generations of LGBTQ+ heroes.

When you get two of the greatest heroes of all time together in a fake relationship and one of them is in love with the other, it's a recipe for disaster. And everyone wants a piece of it.

    Summary

The head engineer of pro hero Dynamight’s Support Department is something of a legend. They’re the best of the best, but no one has a clue as to their identity. The Shouto Agency is given a single clue in the form of a name: Deku.
Shouto has others things to worry about than this mystery, though. After recently discovering he’s demisexual (that explains so much!), he decides it’s time he finally entered the dating pool, and he has his eyes set on the delivery boy working for Bakugou. Or maybe he’s actually a security guard? A PR rep? Or maybe an accountant? Honestly, what is Midoriya Izuku’s job???

    Summary

In a world in which most omegas are slaves and alphas need to own slaves to show their high status, Izuku, a quirkless omega, gets sold to the highest bidder in an auction house a few days after his eighteen birthday. He's scared, of course, but also eager to please and to start a new life far away from all the abuse he had to go through during his training to become a slave.

What he didn't expect, however, was for his new master to be pro-hero Shoto, a dominant alpha who doesn't want any slave and who's been forced by his father, Endeavour, to take Izuku in.

    Summary

Bakugou did not look amused. “Get out of my office.”

Shouto ignored him. “You’re his assistant?”

“I prefer strategist,” Midoriya said. He had grabbed a bag from next to the chair. He pulled out a notebook (the inside of the bag looked stuffed full of notebooks, so finding a particular one was a feat). He opened it to a fresh page “Shouto-san can I have your autograph?” He gave Shouto a brilliant smile as his nose and cheeks turned an even cuter shade of red.
Normally Shouto hated doing this kind of stuff. “Of course,” he said. He knocked Bakugou off him and took the notebook and a pen from Midoriya. As he went to sign the notebook he noticed the whiteboard again. “You’re tracking that arsonist?”

“Mind your business. Sign his shit and get out!” Bakugou barked.

When a serial killer targets people around the Todoroki family Shouto joins Bakugou on the hunt to find them. Along the way, he falls for Bakugou's adorable strategist. Can they find the serial killer before they set their sights on Shouto's new love?

"You're so pretty, like a ladybug!" Izuku nuzzled her chubby cheek with the back of his index finger. "And you're so good, huh?" Subconsciously he started to sway on his feet, causing Shion to yawn and he grinned so wide that his freckles spread across his cheeks.

"I'll pay you triple, no, five times what Bakugo is paying you."

Izuku snapped his head up, wide green eyes full of confusion as if he couldn't believe what he just heard. "Huh?"

"Get the fuck out of my house, half and half." Katsuki scoffed. "You're not taking my nanny."

    Or:

Todoroki is a single father who is at his wits end. He's only had his daughter for 6 weeks and he's ready to end it all. So when he heard from his other friends that Bakugo has an amazing nanny who was responsible for raising the Bakugo children, he decided that ruining his friendship with the Bakugo's was worth it if he could start sleeping at night again.

    Summary

Pro Hero Todoroki Shouto gets a text from an unknown number. Turns out, this number belongs to one of Japan's most wanted criminals. Driven by the desire to capture the villain, who calls himself 'M', and turn him in, the young hero plays along with their texting communications. He never anticipated that what the villain had to say would make, well, a lot of sense and cause the hero to start questioning his own beliefs.

This story will take you through the rollercoaster that is (excuse my pun), Shouto playing with fire and dancing on the dark side. Will he stick to his values or give in to the curiosity that lures him further and further from the only truth he's ever known?

    Summary

Shouto’s just trying to connect with his fellow pro heroes at a party, when someone turns on the TV for some late night comedy show. The host catches Shouto’s eye, and from the way the host is talking Shouto can tell that the show must have just started. Shouto usually doesn’t watch late night shows or stand up comedy, but he might make an exception now, just for this one night…

It’s been three years since that party; Shouto still finds himself turning on his tv at eleven pm, when he’s not stuck at his hero agency late hours again, to watch Izuku Midoriya do his late night comedy show. Although he’s managed to find himself stuck in his office watching Izuku’s show on his phone once or twice before.

    Summary

If there is one thing that Todoroki Shouto is certain of, it is that he does not want to work with his father when he graduates from the top rated hero academy in the country. So, on his career choices form at graduation, he impulsively decides to write "anywhere except the Public Safety Bureau".

Little does he know that this means he's put into the least popular department at the local police precinct: the Department of Extranormal Affairs, in which he has a single, Quirkless coworker who's obsessed with the furthest thing from police work (in Shouto's opinion): aliens.

Supernatural/Paranormal Tododeku (slow burn) AU, inspired by real-life disappearances and alien sightings.

    Summary

Todoroki Shouto had accepted his fate as a public figure when he became a pro-hero, but there are some parts of his private life he would like to stay private. When he is invited to be a speaker in a college lecture series, he goes to the meeting with one goal: to give the coordinator a piece of his mind and finally put an end to people hounding him for information about his family.

The last thing he expects is the curious, and quirkless, hero- and quirk-study professor, Midoriya Izuku, who has no interest in his family's history, and, somehow, even more ties to the hero industry than Shouto. Intrigued by the professor, Shouto tentatively agrees to the lecture series, unknowingly intertwining their futures.

But the more Todoroki sees of Midoriya, the more questions he has. When a villain attack leaves them living together until the culprits are apprehended, maybe he'll finally get some answers.

At that time, a fan asked him if he could get fevers and he said yes. “If I'm feverish, I can run extremely hot. My body can handle temperatures the average person can't, but when I'm sick I lose endurance. So if I'm running very hot, I can get delirious."

Okay, Izuku could definitely be pardoned for choking on the tender meat in his mouth and wheezing like a fish out of water for a solid five minutes.

In the hero community, it’s common for popular heroes to have merchandise for sale. Amongst these items are a few staples: t-shirts, figurines, and, of course, replicas of their costumes. This is where Deku, a well-known YouTuber, comes into play. Deku’s Hero Analysis is a series where the host, Deku, dresses up in official pro hero costumes, then does an analysis of each hero and reviews some of their merchandise. Joining him is Hito-nyan, the sarcastic cameraman who never shows his face and loves to push Deku’s buttons.
And watching them is pro hero Todoroki Shouto, who absolutely, without a doubt, does not have a crush on Deku.
Except actually he does, which is fine, because it turns out they have a friend in common and getting to meet the adorable YouTube star is more likely to happen than he ever would have dreamed.
