Summary

Being “normal” for the Dursleys yielded great results in improving his standard of living, and as he heads off to Hogwarts he still retains that impulse to keep his head down and blend in. Of course, life isn’t as simple as that, and Harry is a magnet for trouble. And what does "normal" really mean, anyway? The pure-bloods in his group of friends think he should learn more about their culture and religion if he wants to fit in.

Extraordinary Summer
It’s the summer of Harry’s fourth year, and Harry's holiday isn't turning out to be particularly normal even by wizarding standards. Most young wizards don't include a promotional book tour in their holiday itinerary after all! During his tour Harry meets werewolves, a hag, and other interesting characters, and visits the fascinatingly unique magical districts of Paris, and Libreville in Gabon.
His snake Storm's company on his many outings are causing Harry's denials of being the Heir of Slytherin to wear thin in many people's eyes.
Well, at least Harry can hope that the Quidditch World Cup will be relatively uneventful.
Unprecedented Competition
The Triwizard Tournament has come to Hogwarts (much to the disgust of Quidditch players), but Harry agrees with Draco that only an idiot would want to get mixed up in something that dangerous. With not one but two Lord Voldemorts out there wreaking havoc – one of whom keeps trying to befriend Harry – he has enough trouble on his plate already.

Turning to an old acquaintance, Siger Holmes contacts the Lord of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Wallace...Harry's rightful guardian.
First several chapters will be covering Pre-Hogwarts years, story starts with Harry at age four so it'll be a while before any sort of slash or real conflict happens. Very political fic with lots of twists and turns. Because the plot-bunnies won't leave me alone!

Summary
The loss of magic had started, as do many things like it, with good intentions. The past century, it was reasoned, had been overshadowed by two of the worst Dark Lords in history. What better way, then, to make sure it never happened again than to stop it before it started? After all it was a well-known fact that those with an affinity for Dark Magic were born with it, so why not tackle the problem at the source? The Department of Mysteries were set on the problem, and two years after the final death of the Dark Lord Voldemort, they released their solution into the world.
It worked for all of two months before the magical disease began to mutate beyond their wildest nightmares.

Summary
In 2001 a Dark Lady, Valmira, murdered Albus Dumbledore and staged an invasion of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry as a prelude to a greater invasion by Voldemort and his Death Eaters. In 2002 Harry Potter and several of his associates were kidnapped by the Unspeakables, who were fleeing Voldemort's invasion of Britain. In the wake of his disappearance Voldemort claimed responsibility for his death. With few witnesses of the kidnapping, and the the obvious absence of Harry Potter, the people of Britain were demoralised. What followed was a war that became known as the War for Pureblood Freedom. In 2006 this war was won, and Lucius Malfoy installed as Minister for Magic.
It is now 2011, and the war is all but over. The Order has been reduced to almost nothing, propped up by Sirius Black and some other diehard loyalists. Discontent is rampant, and rumours of dark goings-on permeate the minds of everyone in Britain.
But Harry Potter didn't die. Now, when the Ministry has declared war upon the Irish Court of Magic, Harry and the Unspeakables are back, and intend to put Voldemort down like the rabid dog he is.
