    Summary

Something snaps inside Izuku’s mind. And no, he definitely was not going insane. But he now finds himself contemplating the idea of letting people taste their own medicine.

Maybe this time, he’ll be the predator in this cat and mouse chase.

Fixing his tie, he looks up and tilts his head to stare back at the explosive man. He clears his throat, and laced with venom and spite, he spits out a retort.

    “Let’s see you try, hero.”

Inspired by Hero Class Civil Warfare and The old bait and switch.

    Summary

Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward.

Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.

Being a great hero was Izuku's only dream as a kid. In this day and age, who didn't want to be one?

But when you start to live out your dream, you can realise how difficult it can be to follow.

To be honest, being an amazing hero who is loved by all is kind of a ridiculous goal to start on right away.

So how about instead, we dial it back a little and just start with...
