    Summary

Following the lives of Sirius and (to a lesser extent) Regulus Black as they navigate their family, Hogwarts, and the first wizarding war.

Everything follows the story as you know it... until Kreacher decides the young Master Regulus is not going to die tomorrow.

    Anthology containing:

    1948: Sirius Phineas by Fantismal

This fic is dark. It does not need to be read to understand the rest of the series, but it adds more color to the history of the Black Family. It is first in this series because of its chronological placement, but feel free to skip and come back (or never come back at all).

Sirius Phineas Black was the Head of the Black Family from 1925 to 1952. During those 27 years, he terrorized nearly every member of the Family and drove them to a deeper insanity than they'd had before.

Alphard Black had a particular hatred for his great-uncle Sirius. This is just the start of why.

    Important by Fantismal

Sirius Black's earliest memory is from when he was two, a promise he made to his father and his baby brother.

(These early stories do not need to be read in order)

"Muggle" isn't a Dirty Word by Fantismal

It's 1966, and six-year-old Sirius Black (almost seven!) wants a new broomstick. When his mummy won't buy it for him, he'll go get it himself!

Except he runs the wrong way out of the Leaky Cauldron and ends up lost in Muggle London.

When the muggles don't actually eat him the way he fears, Sirius does some investigating and learns more about the world than what his parents taught him. Unfortunately, only one person is willing to listen to his discoveries.

(These early stories do not need to be read in order)

    Thirteen by Fantismal

Pollux Black had always been an odd duck among the Black Family. They pulled him back into line when he was young, but he's watching history repeat itself with his oldest grandson.

If they forced him into Family loyalty, then Pollux was going to show them what it meant to actually be loyal to his family.

(The series is in chronological order. It does not need to be read in that order.)

The Last Initiation by Fantismal & Jormandugr

Cygnus Black was chosen to help with his favorite nephew's initiation into the Black Family wizards. All he had to do was cast a couple Unforgivables on an 11-year-old Regulus Black. Simple, really.

After leaving Regulus sorely disappointed, Cygnus gets a glimpse of the future from his disgraced older brother.

    Ever hate this family, Cygnet?

(These early stories do not need to be read in order)

What is Love? by Fantismal & Jormandugr

The first time Sirius ran away from home, Effie Potter caught him and fed him biscuits.

The second time Sirius ran away from home, Effie Potter held him and told him he was safe with her.

The last time Sirius ran away from home, he had burnt every bridge he'd ever built and nearly gotten his best friends killed. He could only hope Effie would help him anyway.

(These early stories do not need to be read in order)

Of Fathers and Sons by Fantismal

Orion Black is learning how (not) to be a father, but it's too little, too late.

Sirius Black is learning how to be a son, but it's so much, all at once.

Fleamont and James Potter already know all of this.

(Set after the Shrieking Shack incident and Sirius' run away from home. Makes the most sense if you read What is Love? first, but no other stories in this series are required reading for this one.)

Reunions and Revelations by Fantismal & Jormandugr

After the Shrieking Shack Incident and running away from home, Sirius' life is making some pretty dramatic changes. He's starting this new chapter with an apology to the friend he wronged the most: Remus Lupin.

"I'm sorry" isn't strong enough, but maybe, just maybe, revealing the animagus transformation and spending a full moon with the werewolf could be?

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. What is Love? and Of Fathers and Sons are suggested reading before this one, but neither are required to understand it.)

    Moments of Happiness by Fantismal

As their last DADA class before OWLs, the fifth years are taught the Patronus Charm as just a bit of fun. It's the first time Sirius finds himself struggling with magic. James and Snape both manage to pull it off, though. Don't matching Patronuses mean love?

This fic can stand alone. You do not need to read any of the rest of the series to understand it

    Heartbreaker by Fantismal & Jormandugr

The war is creeping closer to Hogwarts. At least one student has already been attacked in the halls. But when Remus accidentally rips open a wound from Sirius' past, he doesn't know how to stop the bleeding.

Thankfully, Sirius is now safe with the Potters. Effie, Monty, and James all take it in turns to help him heal.

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. Thirteen is suggested reading either before or after this one, as the two deal with the same event.)

    Second Chances by Fantismal

Alphard Black is dying. He wants to see his disowned nephew one last time. He has something very important he needs to ask Sirius before he goes.

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. 1948: Sirius Phineas helps flesh out a bit more of Alphard's past. "Muggle" isn't a Dirty Word and What is Love? are also suggested reading.)

For the Love of Sirius Black by Fantismal

“Why the hell is he hooking up with Llewellyn when you are right there?” Peter demanded.

“Because he’s curious!” Remus blew up at his fringe, trying to get it out of his eyes. “He was wondering if maybe the reason he’s so bored with all the girls is because he likes guys, and all because of bloody David Llewellyn!”

“Did he tell you that?” Peter asked, looking over for Remus’ nod. “And you didn’t offer!?”

It's Sirius' last year at Hogwarts, and the gay population at Hogwarts has decided they have to make a move before he graduates. Unfortunately, Remus did not make that move first, and now he's left watching as Sirius has a secret gay awakening without him.

What's a lonely young werewolf to do?

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. The first chapter of Heartbreaker is suggested reading before this story.)

    Loyalty by Fantismal

“You can’t hate an entire species!”

    “I do, though.”

    “Even Remus?”

Peter closed his eyes. “A little bit,” he admitted.

“Remus is your best friend,” Sirius said slowly. “He had nothing to do with the attack. You were with him the whole time! You know that!”

“And I keep thinking that if I hadn’t been, I could’ve done something.”

Peter Pettigrew was not the strongest wizard, or the smartest, or the bravest, or the most handsome. But he did know what it meant to be loyal to your friends. And for nearly seven years, Peter and the Marauders were nothing but loyal to each other.

That all started to unravel when they had to choose between one Marauder's pain and another's innocence.

Every villain needs an origin story.

    This is Peter's.

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. For the Love of Sirius Black is suggested reading before this story, but it is not required to understand what's going on.)

Of Fathers and Second Sons by Fantismal & Jormandugr

“If you threatened someone, how long would you wait before you followed through?”

Even though Alphard was dead and gone, Orion could imagine how he would have answered, his blue eyes wicked over his cup of tea, lips curling up like his father’s, like his nephew’s. Precisely as long as needed to make them squirm, and then just a bit more.

Orion sighed. “You are not helpful.”

When Lord Voldemort asks you to do something for him, you better know what you're doing before you throw him out of your house. Orion Black has made a mistake, and now he must cut off Voldemort's ability to end Regulus' life as retaliation.

Except it wasn't the first mistake Orion had made. And he's running out of time to fix things.

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. No other stories in this series are required reading, but all are suggested to flesh out the backstory.)

    Sacrifice a Pawn by Fantismal

He’d like to say it was the final straw as well as the first straw, and all the ones in the middle, for good measure. He’d like to say that Kreacher’s tale of pain and fear and abandonment, of horrible mistreatment at the hands of a master, was the first time the Dark Lord’s true character showed itself.

But Regulus wasn’t blind. Nor was he stupid.

Regulus Black is eighteen years old. He has no father, no uncle, no brother he can depend on. All he has is a battered house elf and the knowledge that the Dark Lord has created something so evil, it cannot be allowed to exist.

What is the last son of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black to do?

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. Of Fathers and Second Sons is suggested reading before this story, but it is not required to understand what's going on.)

Power the Dark Lord Knows Not by Fantismal & Jormandugr

“Regulus,” Sirius finally said, once he trusted he had his own voice under control, “has never once let me help him, even before I was a filthy blood-traitor. Why the fuck do you think I’d be able to save him now?”

Tomorrow night. Kreacher’s words throbbed inside his head. Regulus will die tomorrow night.

Sirius definitely wasn’t going to be getting any sleep at all this week.

Sirius thought he had cut all ties with his family, but when Kreacher shows up in his bedroom with a dire warning, he's hardly able to let his idiot little brother die. And when he learns about the Horcrux his brother was chasing, he's hardly about to let him take on Voldemort alone.

But getting tangled up in the House of Black again is not the best way to prove his innocence among an already-suspicious Order. Sirius has to walk a fine line if he wants to keep everyone he loves alive.

(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. NO other stories in this series are required reading, but all are suggested to flesh out the backstory.)

The Ring by Fantismal & Jormandugr

Contains spoilers for Power the Dark Lord Knows Not. Read that first (but no other stories in this series are required reading)!

After the war is over, what's left of the Black family is trying to recover. Regulus is now the master of the Resurrection Stone, and sometimes, talking to those you loved and lost is exactly what the Healer ordered.

The Madness of Herakles by Fantismal & Jormandugr

Gideon and Fabian Prewett, tied for #1 Uncle (according to the mugs they wielded with pride) had dreams of their wild successes as Aurors, winning honor and glory and infamy for their daring rescues of damsels in distress, wrangling monsters like the heroes of myths and legends. But they also knew that the reality of life as an Auror would be a lot of paperwork and cleaning up messes that they hadn't actually been responsible for making. They were (mostly) okay with that.

That all changed when Sirius Black helped them find the lost Diadem of Ravenclaw and said that horrible H-word in their presence.

    Horcrux.

Getting to hold a piece of the Dark Lord's soul in your hands does not lend itself to a long life.
    Or a particularly sane one.

The Boy Who Lived by Jormandugr

This is a sequel/epilogue to Power The Dark Lord Knows Not, and will contain spoilers for that story. No other stories in the series are required reading.

Regulus Black is alive. Regulus Black is also a young veteran who will carry the scars of his part in the war for the rest of his life, and who will always have to live with the things he has done, the people he has hurt, and the things he couldn't save. And, while the people around him lean on each other and move forward into the future... what is there left for him to move forward for?

Regulus Black is alive. Turning twenty, six months after the war, he really wishes he wasn't.

    Summary

A series of stories following the Wayne family as they deal with illness, changes to the family, and growing up.

Four major longfics, and a whole lot of shorts. Shorts can be read out of order or skipped entirely.

(A no-smut series; rating is for some violence, gore, and language depending on story.)

    Anthology containing:

    Foreign Object

Bruce Wayne deals with a serious illness, one that threatens the most crucial part of himself. He and the family try to cope with their own fears and expectations about it and then the aftermath. This is written partly as character study, partly as family drama. Originally posted to tumblr.

    Developmental Milestones

A/N: This is a sequel to Foreign Object. You don't have to start there, I suppose, but it might help.

Dr. Kiran Devabhaktuni is a neurosurgeon. He's the neurosurgeon that cut a tumor out of Bruce Wayne's skull.

And at first, Dev was just coming around for tea with Alfred. But somehow he's now working as the doctor for the Wayne Family.

And the Wayne family? Also the Batman Family.

Kiran Devabhaktuni is a curious man. He's probably a stupid man. He probably should regret what his life has turned into. But honestly? He really doesn't.

    Out Here Hope Remains

This story picks up a week after Zsasz kills Jason Todd, again. It overlaps with Developmental Milestones and fills in some gaps, as Jason recovers at the Kent Farm. A full year after Bruce Wayne's brain surgery, the family is just trying to catch a break and maybe find a way to heal a little bit. Because what point is there in saving Gotham if you don't have a family to save it for?

    Familiar Ghosts

Two years after the end of Developmental Milestones, Gotham is starting to look like a brighter city. But old villains and old problems come back to haunt them and the Wayne family starts to wonder if anything can really change for good.

This story returns to the rotating perspective style of Foreign Object.

    Tipping Point

Dev knows Clark Kent and he knows Superman.

    But he doesn't know yet.

    Until now, that is.

    Half-Measure

Conner Kent needs some direction and so he goes to Bruce Wayne, because for some reason that sounded like a good idea.

CECverse but stands alone as a one-shot.

    Happy Home Designer

Tim hangs out with Dev, talks about what he does at WE, and then has an emotional conversation with Bruce about doing things alone.

    Oh, and he's sick.

    Shiver

During Bruce's birthday party, there's a minor accident that makes Dick Grayson pause and take stock of himself, his relationship with Damian, and whether "okay" can be enough.

    High Dive

This is a pool party piece written for Jason's birthday per multiple requests. It's a tangential fluff spin-off from Developmental Milestones.

    It is REALLY silly.

    Algernon, Patient Zero

A spin-off short to go with Developmental Milestones. Jason, Algernon the rat, and Dev. And maybe some tacos!

    Jason's Not Dead Again

Companion piece to Developmental Milestones, covering the gap between chapters twenty and twenty-one from Bruce's perspective.

    Painted Birds

This is pure fluff mini-fic filler for a holiday chapter of Developmental Milestones. Cassandra Cain and Jason Todd spend a couple minutes together on New Year's Eve after escaping the Wayne Manor Gala.

And Over Kansas the Whole Universe Was Stilled

Jason has a hard time with memories of being dead.

Partly because it took him a long time to even realize that's what they were.

    Gear Shift

Damian is spending a summer day at the Kent Farm and gets caught in an argument. It's a little surprising.

What's more surprising is that it doesn't ruin the rest of the day.

    Pigtails

From a tumblr flash fiction prompt.

Dev and Steph run an errand for Alfred that ends up involving an unexpected encounter with the past. Set after the end of Developmental Milestones and Out Here Hope Remains.

    Rat Trap

Dick's petsitting goes awry and his plan to fix it goes even more awry than that.

They can probably keep it from Jason and Damian.

    Probably.

    Shout Before You Sing

It's not like he's been there for years, but honestly, Dev should know better than to startle a Wayne.

    Full Dinner Jacket

Bruce just can't get an afternoon of work at home anymore. It's pointless to even try.

For She's a Jolly Good City

Jason's 21st birthday turns far more exciting than anyone intended when Dev takes him out for a promised, legal drink.

    Bird by Bird

Damian Wayne finds an injured hawk and Dev offers to give him a ride.

It is, unfortunately, not a smooth trip.

    Cocooned

Jason has a hard time dealing with books being destroyed.

    Especially when it's his fault.

    Dev and the Fae King

In which Tim needs a present for Conner and Dev has had undue influence on Kon's music preferences and is dragged into things.

    Tumblr prompt flash fic.

    Scientific Study

Bruce hasn't helped anyone with school projects for a while.

It still doesn't seem like they're getting much done.

But that kinda makes for a nice evening.

We Blow Things Up Like Men

Sometimes, things are necessary for scientific advance. Some other times, things are just an excuse to engineer explosions.

    Tumblr prompt.

    Dinobite

The problem with Dev going on a hike these days is that there is an 80% chance it will end in disaster, probably very far away, probably involving Bruce bleeding on something.

At least this time it was for science?

    Overshadowed

Dick Grayson is dealing with a case that's dredging up some unpleasant memories.

It's a good thing they have a doctor around for that sort of thing now.

    The Victor Takes the Fall

Stephanie is outmatched by a Gotham monster and Bruce does the Batman thing.

    Pick-Me-Up

Damian falls in the cave while already ill and is just having a generally terrible day.

    Red Light

Jason Todd and Kiran Devabhaktuni drive to the Manor after Cassandra's ballet recital. Nothing is ever simple in the Wayne family.

    Beam Me Up

Dev finally makes it to the Watchtower.

At least it isn't for an emergency.

    An Unexpected Afternoon

Bruce Wayne and Jason Todd go book shopping together and, after a few years of work, it's nice that they can just (mostly) get along like a (mostly) normal family.

We Don't Deserve to Win It

Alfred is sick and that's enough to scare anyone.

    Unaccompanied Minor

Jason is pretty fond of his new complaint: "Why couldn't Wonder Woman have adopted me instead?"

Bruce is getting pretty tired of it.

    Tumblr request.

    Chateau Wayne

Jason and Bruce talk about not sleeping and missed opportunities, and make an effort to revive old plans.

    Starfighter

When Bruce and Tim end up dealing with a nasty version of fear toxin, the solution is antidote, more antidote, and chilling with some video games while Dev keeps an eye on things.

Keeping anything pointy out of Tim's reach would probably be a good idea, too.

The Furthest From Home We've Ever Been

Tim and Dev have a long-running joke that Tim is King of the Fae.

It's never been a problem until now.

    Crash Position

Bruce is having awful nightmares and Dev checks on him. There is some crying.

    Serving Sizes Are a Myth

Stephanie and Bruce find a small area of common ground.

    The Dimming Days

An off-world experience turns deadly and survival is a matter of Batman being alive enough to keep doing Batman things.

Dev's known this since the minute they ended up here by accident, but Bruce doesn't seem to grasp that.

    Jason's Gots Kids

Jason Todd was just going to take in some older foster teens but Gotham's the sort of place that always needs somebody for someone.

And the first call he got was for a baby and he sure as hell wasn't going to say no.

    Grandpa Bee & Nanny Cat

    This is pure, self-indulgent fluff.

Selina Kyle stops by the manor to find Bruce babysitting-- kind of-- his grandson, Jason's oldest. There's more quiet than chaos and I do not apologize.

    Ghosts Under Rocks

Alfred Pennyworth is unflappable, except, of course, for when he isn't.

Or, a story in which there is space for sorrow.

Someone Leads the Beast in on His Chain

Dev is poisoned and Batman gets there just in time.

    Flames Flames On My...Thigh

Falling asleep in a costume is a mistake, especially if it's not like, a vigilante costume.

The Babysitter's Club: Tim and the Toddler

Jason just needs someone to watch Isaac for a day. It's only a day. It's sorta last minute.

Tim has never watched Isaac before. Someone else was always around to do the dirty work. But he's the only one available, maybe, and even if a day seems way too long, he can't just leave his brother-- or nephew-- hanging like that.

    Tea Time

Alfred Pennyworth and Kiran Devabhaktuni are on a now-annual trip to clean up the lake house for a family gathering. They take a break for tea and the weather does not.

Sow You Back Up Like a Garden

Adult Damian has retired from vigilantism to a quiet life on the Kent Farm. Jason comes to visit after Damian handles an unpleasant situation in town.

    Steady Heart, Steady Mind

The flash forward conclusion to Cor Et Cerebrum.

jojo56830's Linked Universe on Tumblr stole my life. This is the result.

A series of stories focusing on Wild with a side helping of Twilight thrown in. Ranges from light and humorous to angsty and full of feels. Read at your own risk.

Though some stories may have small references to others in the series, each one can ultimately be read as stand-alone.

    Anthology containing:

    Dawn of Change

It isn't easy working together. Words are said, mistakes are made, and relationships are made or broken.

A look at the early days of Wild and Twilight's relationship.

    A Spicy Solution

Wild can always find a solution to his problems. Even if those solutions are a bit... unconventional.

    Or

Wild pulls a crazy stunt that none of his fellow Heroes find amusing.

    A Tonic for Your Ails

A run in with moblins leaves some of the Heroes with injuries. Thankfully, Wild has a recipe for that.

    Grace

Destiny has never been kind to her Heroes.

Wild is no stranger to suffering, but this time could be different.

This time, suffering might just claim him entirely.

    Sacrifice

The nine incarnations of the Hero of Courage are more than just traveling companions. They are friends. They are family. They are brothers.

Wild loves his brothers, and he would give up anything to protect them. Even if that means making the ultimate sacrifice.

    Can be read stand-alone.

    Adrift

    A Linked Universe Fic

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. For every choice made, there is a consequence that must follow. For every life spared, a hundred will eventually be lost.

In lives ruled by destiny, straying from the given path is a dangerous game to play, and the consequences of such are much more far-flung than anyone could have predicted. The nine Heroes of Courage are swept into an unfamiliar world, rife with enemies and harboring secrets at every turn. As the Heroes navigate the mysteries surrounding this new land, they'll learn of the dangerous task set before them, a task can only end in one of two ways:

    Victory...

...or the destruction of everything they hold dear.

Relationships will be tested, trust will be built and broken, and the end of the world might come sooner than expected.

*Can (technically) be read stand-alone. See notes for more details.

    Summary

An AU where Obi-Wan receives a varactyl hatchling named Boga to act as his service animal for post-traumatic stress caused by the Melida/Daan war. Boga remains at Obi-Wan's side throughout his lifetime.

    Anthology containing:

grief is its own beast by CallToMuster

The creature comes to a screeching halt right in front of them – right in front of Obi-Wan, whose face seems to crumple a bit.

“Boga,” he chokes out, and then his hands are buried in its crests and his face is tucked into the side of its neck. The creature trills again, a lower-pitched cry of mourning, and cuddles closer to the man who is clutching it like it is his lifeline.

[Or: in the wake of Qui-Gon's death on Naboo, Obi-Wan's service animal Boga provides some much-needed comfort.]

    Angel of Music by calika

He finds her curled up in Qui-Gon’s favourite blanket on the couch, head stretched to the sky and swaying as she happily creates the most joyful sonic torture to ever exist.

    -
Boga sings her heart out at every opportunity.

    Inseparable by calika

Obi-Wan is torn from Boga’s side, his grip on her feathers failing as his captors drag him away and he screams, feeling like it’s his heart they’ve torn from him instead.
    -
Obi-Wan and Boga are captured on the warfront

love like a roar by catboydogma

“I don’t—I, uh. I don’t know what a varactyl is, Master,” Obi-Wan said, cradling the egg gingerly.
“Find out soon, you will!” Yoda cackled, rapping the end of his gimer stick against Qui-Gon’s kitchen tile.
If it were any other master, Qui-Gon might have protested giving the egg of a live creature to his very young, very tired padawan.
But it was Yoda, and Yoda did what he liked. Qui-Gon supposed there had to be some advantages to being shin-high and over 500 years.

Not everything feels like something else by Artherra

Qui-Gon voices the: “Oh!” for him.
The lizard that stands at her feet; roughly tall enough for its head to be level with Obi-Wan’s chest; turns its head to them as soon as they enter and fixes its stare straight at him, those yellow, burning, intelligent eyes cutting through his soul. The crown of purple-blue-jade feathers on the back of its head lifts as it considers him like an equal, like a challenger, and he straightens without thinking. A sort of harness wraps around its body along with a vest; it says on the side, SERVICE ANIMAL IN TRAINING, and DO NOT DISTRACT, black font on bright orange.
“Obi-Wan,” the lady tries to get his attention but he’s too busy having a staring contest with the animal that reminds him so closely, so terribly of some half-forgotten idea of home.
“I want you to meet Boga.”

One by one, we each stay alive.

war is a looming specter by CallToMuster

“Hey,” Anakin said softly, kneeling down. “Are you alright, Master?”

    Obi-Wan raised his head and revealed his pale, blotchy face and red-rimmed eyes. “I – I can’t – I can’t do it again, I can’t–”

At his side, Boga let out a soft trill and raised her head to swipe her tongue down the side of Obi-Wan’s face.

"I've done lots of research, Master. Varactyls are very smart and loyal. Plus, I've always been good at connecting with animals through the Force."

"Indeed you have," the Jedi Master says with a tinge of defeat. "Though I worry about taking on the responsibility of training Boga on top of your padawan studies. You already have much to catch up on."

“Oh, hello there,” Obi-Wan said, turning and raising an arm. Boga had her little paws hooked into his tunics, beak open wide and tail lashing behind her. “What are you doing here, darling?”
Boga opened her beak even wider, somehow, and screeched at him. He’d never heard her so loud or so shrill. The rush of the fountains and streams in the Room filled the air between them.

It will be easy, the Senate had said. Just yourself and perhaps a few others, they’d said. Quick in and out, they had told him.
Well, this was most definitely not a “quick in and out” sort of mission.

healing takes its own path by CallToMuster

Obi-Wan looked back down at Boga. He stretched out his hand a bit, and this time Boga was the one who leaned forward into his touch. He began scratching dutifully, clearly understanding the implicit instruction, and immediately the low rumbling began again.

A slow, small smile crept across his face.

“G-good girl, Boga,” Obi-Wan whispered, so softly that it could barely be heard.

High General Obi-Wan Kenobi, you are invited to attend the 3rd Peace Gala to benefit the republic planets most impacted by the war.

I am honoured to accept the invitation on the condition my service animal may accompany me.
May the force be with you.

easy now / now alone by catboydogma

There was nothing else in the world that felt like Boga. Her scales were smooth but not slick, pebbled but not raised. Her beak was always warm, somehow, despite the fact that it was bone and keratin. Her tongue laved over the inside of his wrist and then she nudged forward, thumping the side of her head against his chest. His arm automatically went around her neck and she set a leg delicately over his lap. The warm weight of it felt real like nothing else.

Then the sweet sound of a gunship directly overhead filtered through the dust. Whoops and fresh cheers from the troops made Obi-wan’s knees weak again.

    “Reinforcements! The reinforcements have arrived!”

There were already clones running past them. Obi-wan turned off his lightsaber. The plasma melted away, and so did Obi-wan’s strength. He and Boga sank to the ground together.

The training simulations on Kamino had never included a 60-foot feathered lizard. Cody had to admit the veractyl was endearing, though, in her own way. The creature—Boga—did a considerable job of being in the background, despite her large size. Cody knew how much she helped his General, so he couldn’t help but be grateful to her. Normally, she was vigilant, perceptive, and calm.

She certainly wasn’t calm at the moment. It was the first time that Cody found himself wishing the veractyl were a little less perceptive.

General Kenobi hadn’t come back from the latest mission.

our teeth to break by catboydogma

Obi-Wan woke to a raging headache, searing pain in his shoulders, and a dull throbbing at the back of his skull. He was strung up by his wrists, Force-suppressing cuffs digging into the soft insides of his arms, feet barely brushing the cold durasteel floor under him. He noticed, with a sinking feeling, a circular drain set in the middle of the floor just under his toes.

a love that won't sit still by catboydogma

Obi-Wan sang to Boga when he fed her. Qui-Gon had no idea why or when this had started. It just was. Obi-Wan crooned nonsensical melodies to Boga when he brushed through her crest and checked her toe pads, he sang snatches of Qui-Gon’s rowdiest drinking songs when he fed her, and when she curled up on his chest to sleep he hummed a sleepy three-note song of satisfaction before dropping off to sleep.

When Obi-Wan opened his eyes again, he was on the ground and he couldn’t remember how he got there.

numbness spreading across your chest like frost by CallToMuster

It was stupid, Obi-Wan knew it was stupid, but he hadn’t been able to help clinging to the thought during the war that once it was over, everything would be better.

But now the war was over, and Obi-Wan felt worse than he had in a long, long time.

This was a beautiful planet. The name escaped him at the moment, but it had three moons and a single young blue sun. The atmosphere was a stunning deep cobalt in the evenings as the sun set and the first moon rose, but in the day—as it was now—the sky was a delicate shade of lavender. It was almost entirely rock and natural springs, with volatile volcanoes at each pole. Not two yards from Obi-Wan, a waterfall of glass-green water fountained down a rocky cliff to the riverbed. The rock here was every shade imaginable, though it tended to settle in deep violets and indigos.
All it meant now was that Obi-Wan was covered in violet rock dust and his blood turned the rock beneath him almost black.

He didn’t remember a lot of things. He didn’t remember how he got here, or where he was, or what he was doing before this. All there is was this, the silent and dark room, Boga between him and the door. There was nothing else but screaming in his mind.

Well - that was a lie. There was something else, but Obi-Wan knew it wasn’t real, and he wasn’t supposed to focus on things that weren’t real. But the room was so dark and so quiet that it was the only thing he could focus on, and so while Boga purred beneath him, trying desperately to keep him calm, his eyes remained locked on the far corner of the room.

In that corner - existing heedless of the fact that there was no light to see by - was a monster. Obi-Wan had no other word for it. It was a mass of cloaks and black and red and hatred, and it wanted to kill him. If he moved or made a noise, it would kill him. It was there, and Obi-Wan was trapped, and he didn’t know where he was.

The monster wasn’t real. It didn’t feel real, not really. But Obi-Wan also knew that if he moved he would die, and he did not want to die like this.

    muffled heart by CallToMuster

The anxiety started early. Perhaps that was why he reacted so strongly when a noise suddenly rang out across the atrium of the Senate lobby. It wasn’t the thunder of an explosion, or the whine of a blastershot, or the crack of a slugthrower firing. But it was close enough, and like a switch had been flipped, Obi-Wan felt a great weight descend over him, muffling everything.

Just a series for all my LU fics!

    Anthology containing:

Five Times Wild Did Something Wild (and One Time it Didn't Work Out)

“Wild, no.” Twilight whispered, gripping his shoulder, but Wild merely smiled.
“You don’t trust me.” he stated, smile unwavering. Twilight bit his lip, glancing between Wild and the enemy camp. There were half a dozen armed and dangerous Bokolins just waiting for them to come within range, but Wild’s grin made it seem as if the idea of being riddled with arrows excited him.
“I don’t know what you’re planning, but it can’t be good.” Twilight said instead, earning him a huff of laughter.
“You’re no fun, Twi.” Wild simply said, only confusing the other more.
“That is a camp full of bloodthirsty Bokoblins, Wild! There is nothing ‘fun’ about it!”

    ---

Thank you for 1000 kudos!! <3

    Every Man Dies Alone

Wild was a skilled fighter, brave and selfless. Sure, he was reckless and at times unreasonable, but everyone had their issues. The group wasn’t concerned about Wild as much anymore, even though the younger still exhibited few self preservation skills. He would hide his injuries, refuse potions, and sneak off into the forest at night and be fine in the morning. No one else noticed, but Twilight worried.

    The Sun Will Come Out

Everyone kept telling him not to worry so much, that Wild was capable, that he’d be back soon. All Twilight could think of was the scars painting his cub’s body from his last adventure, of the frequent nightmares, lost memories, self doubt. They’d made progress, but Wild was still only a kid. He wasn’t even nineteen yet, and already had faced more than Twilight could comprehend. If Wild’s first adventure broke him, Twilight worried this one might shatter him.
    ---
Wild leaves the group for another adventure, and returns very different.

    Tomorrow

A bright green light flashed, and Wild turned to see a body of mummified skin and bones resting atop a platform, dark eyes fixed on Zelda and arm glowing bright with runes. Wild's heart leapt into his throat as the figure lurched forward, arm reaching for Zelda's frozen form.

Wild didn't think--he stepped in front of Zelda and raised his right arm in defense.

    Wet and Wild

“Do you not want to talk about it?” Twilight asked slowly.
“You’ll all find out soon enough anyway, I might as well tell you.” Wild sighed, eyes focused on his boots. “I’m sorta, kinda, maybe dating the prince.” Wild mumbled quietly, shoulders tensing as he finally admitted it.

    Legend Has Two Hands

Marin bit her lip to hide a smile and Ravio looked as if he were about to laugh. Legend somehow became even redder, raising his hands to hide his face. As if on cue, Ravio swung his legs over Legend’s lap while Marin leaned in closer, and both placed a kiss on each of Legend’s cheeks.

    Scars

“You okay?” Wild asked, and Warriors snapped back to the present with an apologetic smile.
“Yeah, I’m…” Warriors hesitated, and Wild tilted his head before sitting down in the sand beside him. Warriors let out a sigh, lowering his head and watching Wild from his peripheral. “How do you do it?”
“Do what?” Wild asked, and Warriors felt himself beginning to blush as he realized what he was about to ask.
“How are you so confident? Your scars…” Warriors trailed off with a huff, feeling like a jerk. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be asking such a personal question.”
Wild was quiet for a moment, staring out at the distant forms splashing in the water. “I wasn’t always comfortable. With my scars, I mean.”

    Throwing Shade

Four had a feeling the minute he returned to his Hyrule things would get real weird, real fast, and there wouldn’t be much he could do about it. He held onto hope that maybe, just maybe, his boyfriend wouldn’t be the dramatic idiot he was and wouldn’t emerge from the shadows like some kind of evil villain in front of a group of heavily armed and trigger happy heroes. He hoped that Shadow would have a scrap of common sense not to jump him the minute he came back. He prayed his secrets wouldn’t be revealed against his will, but he had a feeling all his prayers would be for nothing.

You Can't Buy Love but You Can Rent It

No more taking pity on Mr. Hero, even if he was handsome and selfless and his best customer. No more, or Link might realize he had a crush and never come back, or worse, spread a rumor about Ravio’s willingness to cut a deal if he liked someone. It would be horrible for business, so he swore to himself up and down that night, laying in bed as Link’s kiss still tickled his cheek, that he would never bargain again.

    Warriors Shouldn't Have Done That

Legend hid his face in his hands, cursing Warriors under his breath, while Hyrule seemed to shrink in on himself with a bright blush and a horrified look on his face. Wind slumped over the table, his ears bright red.
    ---
Or, Warriors' flirtatious attitude leads to Wind and Hyrule discovering some things about themselves and Legend is tired.

    I Am He..?

“Legend, can I ask you something?” Hyrule whispered to the older hero, their eyes briefly meeting as he got his attention. “Ah, but, you have to promise you won’t tease me about it…”

“Sure thing, ‘Rule, what’s on your mind?” Legend raised his brows, and Hyrule looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping before he continued.

    “I’ve just been wondering, what’s a gender?”
    ---
Hyrule doesn't know what gender is. Unfortunately for him, the other heroes aren't much help.

    Hero Through the Ages

“Do you know how old you are right now?” Twilight sighed, letting himself fully sit as the last Moblin fell behind them.
“I’d say about seven… maybe eight years old? Physically, that is.” Wild eventually replied, clenching his small hands into fists.
Twilight's eyes widened in surprise as he looked the kid over again. Wild was small, sure, but eight years old? He’d been fighting with perfect form just a few minutes ago, and the way he was responding to things, the way his hair was cropped short…
“Wild, were you training as a knight at eight years old?” Twilight couldn’t help himself, the fear of knowing the answer not enough to stop his curiosity. Wild jumped slightly at the question, but instead of becoming sheepish, instead of appearing at all upset, he simply cocked his head in question.
    “Is that not normal?”
    ---
Wild gets hit with a spell and turns into a child, but he's not as wild as the heroes expected.

    The Point of No Return

This was underhanded, cruel, unspeakably evil. It was very much something Dark Link would pull. And Four hated that it worked, he hated that he couldn’t even bluff indifference. Now that Shadow was here in his arms Four would do anything to keep him there.
Dark’s grimace returned in full, knowing force.
“I’m listening.” Four sighed, and Shadow whispered a stream of refusal in his ear that he tried his best to ignore.

Experimental Equations, Or The One Where Wild Uses Glitches

“It’s called a wall clip. No idea how it works, but if I shield surf at just the right moment while jumping towards a wall I can pass through it.” Wild explained, before a haunted look replaced the grin. “Or get stuck inside. That’s not very pleasant.”
    Twilight didn’t want to know.
    ---
The group ends up in Wild's Hyrule and Flora shows up with some "experiments" she wants to perform. Cue Wild using glitches and Twilight losing his mind.

    To Fulfill His Fate

    The hero was dead.
    He knew that.
Stupid boy, stop playing hero. You’re just going to get yourself killed.
Link had heard those words countless times across Hyrule. Ever since he’d woken up in that strange stone tomb, voices in his head foreign and begging, ghosts giving him directives, memories long gone poking at the edge of his mind. The hero was dead. He died a hundred years ago.
    He failed.
    ---
Wild travels across Hyrule, an unknown and unnamed rogue dispatching monsters in the night. He has no friends, no family, and everyone thinks he’s long dead.

    Four Feet of Pure Flirtation

Alright, so maybe Vio had a teeny, tiny, little preference for the brooding type. So what? It wasn’t a crime!
They had the best fashion sense anyway.
    And they were hot.
    But they were typically villains.
Vio tried not to dwell on these more conflicting thoughts.
    ---
Four had a problem. Vio liked to flirt. With villains, specifically. It was making his life a bit more difficult than it needed to be, to say the least.

    Dream With Me

Legend had been gone for months, but Hyrule stayed strong. His friend--his brother--would return. He had to be sure, for both of them, too afraid of thinking otherwise. In the logical part of his mind he knew Legend had more adventures ahead--not just one, not just two. So he would be fine, absolutely fine, and he’d come back and it would be like nothing had ever happened!
But the longer Legend was gone, the more he worried.
    ---
Legend joins the group after his third adventure but soon leaves to save a mysterious island. He returns a very different person.

    A Troublesome Habit

“I cannot believe I have to say this,” Time sucked in a breath, immensely tired. “But there will be no more poisoning yourself on this adventure. And that goes for all of you.”

    ---
The heroes have odd drinking habits. Legend drinks too much coffee, Wind has a flask, and when was the last time Hyrule drank water..?

    Lessons in Love

“What do you mean by ‘show me the ropes’?” Legend asked, quick, defensive enough to pass as insulted. Ravio snorted, tasting the hot chocolate, and Legend’s eyes were drawn to his lips once more as if under a spell.

“I mean no offense, Link,” Ravio laughed, seeming not to catch the blush on Legend’s face as Ravio used his name. “I just figured you might want some pointers. Flirting, hand holding, relationship advice, y’know? You don’t have to accept the offer by any means!”

    Flirting? Hand holding? Legend gulped.

He was already an idiot. Maybe he could play dumb for a little while longer…

    ---
Legend accepts lessons in relationship advice from Ravio as he tries to work up the nerve to confess. Unfortunately they're both idiots.

    Beneath the Surface

What most people didn’t realize, just as they had no clue that Link was four or could shrink down to the size of a Minish, is that pulling the Four Sword did more than just split them. Not just four parts, four pieces of one whole with a color assigned to each. A color and an element, for the blade was not just enchanted--he’d repaired it himself using four Elements, crystals embodying Wind, Fire, Water, and Earth. The Four Sword did more than just split him, it imbued each part with one of the elements, abilities both powerful assets and dangerous weapons.
    ---
The Colors have elemental magic to use at their will, but it wasn't always easy to control their powers.

    Too Good to Be True

Something wasn’t right about Warriors’ Hyrule. Legend didn’t want to find out what it was.
    He feared he already knew.
    ---
Warriors' games aren't canon, and all dreams must come to an end.

    Smoke on the Wind

Wind would never tell the others his greatest secret.

It wasn’t something small, like the details of his first or second adventure. It wasn’t even big, like Time’s markings or Wild’s memory issues, things they kept under lock and key for no one to hear the truth of. No, Wind’s greatest secret was massive; a burden he’d been forced to bear on his own the entire time he’d had it.

Wind knew when someone was about to die.

    Forever and Always

Legend's eyes traveled over each word, slowly, savoring the time he had before it came to a close. He reached the end of the page too soon. Legend felt his heart skip a beat.

    Please write back soon.
    Love,
    Ravio.

    Love.
No, no, what? What did he mean love?
    ---
Legend and Ravio exchange letters until a sudden confession forces Legend to confront his own feelings for the merchant.

    Arrhythmic

They weren’t walking fast, just one foot in front of the other in a line, nothing out of the ordinary. Yet Hyrule’s heart was racing as if they were in the heat of battle. He took deep, steadying breaths as the morning wore on, the only thing he knew to try and calm himself. But he was calm, relatively speaking, and the longer his heart hammered away the dizzier and colder he felt.
    ---
Hyrule pushes himself too hard and his heart isn't having it.

    Liminal

The wind howled through the open entrance, drowning out the creaking of the roof. Four flicked his blade once more, and the swish of air nearly covered the shifting weight behind him. He paused, looking back, just in time to see the roof caving in as the support beam gave way.

    Second Wind

Four raised his sword swiftly, glinting in the sunlight in multicolored rays.
One body became four, four minds slotted into place--

Except when Green opened his eyes, something felt wrong.

    ---

Vaati is sealed within the Four Sword until the magic breaks, allowing him to burst free. He takes control of Green, and it's up to the rest of the Links to free him before someone gets hurt, or worse.

    Ties That Bind

“This,” Shadow pulled out the mirror, waving it around for emphasis a foot from Vio’s face. “Doesn’t work. I got about a hundred feet from those Goddess-forsaken ruins when I started feeling like shit, but when I tried to go back in the mirror--” Shadow waved his hands more, sharp teeth bared. “Nothing! I’m stuck here!”
“That shouldn’t be the case--” Vio began, the pain in his skull lessening enough to let him think. And as soon as he did, the pieces snapped into place, creating a grim picture of his error clear in his mind. “Oh, shit.”
“What? What is it?” Shadow scrambled forward, latching slightly sharp fingers onto Vio’s shoulders. “What did you do to me?”
“It’s actually ‘what did I do to us’, I’m afraid."

    ---

Vio manages to bring Shadow back to the light world, but a small mistake leads to a terrible fate for more than just the two of them... or, an opportunity to strengthen the ties that bind.

    Uncanny

He got the feeling that there was something not-quite-right about Four. He got that feeling about Time, a little bit of wariness around Hyrule, too… he couldn’t quite place why. There was something a bit different about the colors of their spirits and the way they held themselves, and like with most things Wind didn’t understand, he figured he would learn the truth someday.

There was something uncanny about him too, after all.

    ---

Four, Hyrule, Time, and Wind all have something not-quite-Hylian about them. Fae ancestry, blessings, curses, and Deity ties all make them different, in ways that only they can recognize...

Courage | The Death of Pride by adavison

Eight years after the war, Draco Malfoy has lost everything. All he has left is his pride and his son. The life he once envisioned for himself died a long time ago. Still grieving and terrified of failing as a parent, Draco must find a way to put aside his own pride and find the courage to reach out and ask for help.

Courage — mental and emotional strength in facing difficulty, adversity, danger, or temptation.

Justice | Justice isn't blind but she kinda smells like hotdog water by susabei

It was on the hottest day of the summer that Draco Lucius Malfoy found himself on trial for the most heinous crime.

Justice — the condition of being morally correct or fair.

Charity | Dear Mr Evans by Ladderofyears

When the Ministry claims Draco Malfoy's fortune in reparations it seems that his future looks bleak. There is no possible way for him to afford the tuition fees or the living costs for a university education, even though a life spent healing others is his dearest wish. To his complete surprise an anonymous benefactor offers him both, as well as a stipend to live on. Even though his benefactor asks for nothing in return, Draco decides to write him letters. He tells Mr Evans about his life, his course and all of the people that he cares about.

This is a story about the transformative effect of charity, and how it changes both Draco's, and Mr Evans's lives forever.

Charity - help, especially in the form of money, given freely to people who are in need.

Hope | It’s Okay to Not Be Okay by Janieohio

Thankfully, he has good friends like Draco there to remind him that he has a life of his own and that Teddy is not the only source of light in his life. Sometimes you have to make your own light, but sometimes you need some help remembering how to draw back the curtains.

Hope — grounds for believing that something good may happen.

Prudence | Life Can't Be Lived By Reason Alone by Drarrymadhatter

Hogwarts is having a five-year reunion, and everyone’s invited. Draco is overwhelmed and anxious, while Harry is resigned. When Harry sees Draco sneak out of the reunion, he knows there’s something wrong and follows him to the Room of Requirement. When the situation combusts, Hogwarts decides it’s had quite enough of their bickering to last a lifetime.

Prudence — the ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason, cautiousness and judgement.

Temperance | Comfortable Habits by JessicaDoom

On the surface, of course Harry’s happy to have bumped into Draco Malfoy again. He feels giddy with anticipation for their breakfast “date” set for the next morning. He feels ready to move on.

But, down in that place where his feelings truly live, there’s apprehension. There’s fear. As his counsellor would put it, there’s something “unresolved” — something he can’t leave unresolved.

Temperance — moderation of needed things and abstinence from things which are not needed.

Faith | Let There Be Light by Drarrelie

There’s a stranger standing in Draco’s bedroom, an unexpected visitor claiming to be Harry Potter. Only... this man is old. Isn’t the Boy Who Lived supposed to be Draco’s age? And what in Salazar’s name is he even talking about?

Faith — great trust or confidence in something or someone.

(A train sweeps him away to another manor.)

Todoroki Shouto is still a disagreeable boy of ten years old without parents, but now he has some new—and rather odd, really—acquaintances, including a talkative servant, a kind old gardener, a girl with a love of animals, a stern housekeeper, and a robin.

Oh, and there’s a garden, too.

Skybridger twinswap AU where Prince Luke Organa and Bodyguard Ezra Bridger fall in love over the years.

Sequel trilogy AU where Rey is Luke and Ezra’s daughter and she must defeat Darth Plagueis before he destroys the galaxy.

    Anthology containing:

    The Prince and the Bodyguard

Bail is unsure why he’s being told this, but he is intrigued. “Where is the boy now?”

“Here,” Mon smiles, “on this base, being cared for by Shara Bey and Kes Dameron.”

Bail nods upon recognizing the names. Shara is their best pilot, and Kes is their best combat leader.

“However,” Mon states, “they cannot care for the boy full-time. There is something...unique about him. Something you are more equipped to handle.”

    Bail narrows his eyes. “What?”

“Ezra Bridger is Force-sensitive,” Mon reveals.

Bail leans back in his chair and blinks once. “I see…”

“If your son is anything like his true parents,” Mon says, “he will soon require guidance. This boy also requires that guidance.”

“So,” Bail says, “you want me to shield them both from the Empire. Get them a...teacher.”

    Daughter of Strife and Serendipity

Immensely troubled, Luke meets Ezra’s gaze. “How did she...has she-”

Ezra shakes his head. “I’ve never seen anything like that before.”

Luke glances over at his daughter. Rey has yet to notice Luke’s arrival as she gathers herbs and flowers into her lap.

Luke blows air out of his mouth. He keeps his voice low, out of earshot. “She’s the daughter of two powerful Force sensitives. We should have expected this to happen.”

“You will soon realise…” The villain breathes, the bandages beginning to stain black along the line the stitches seem to follow. “You have to accept your place in this world and fulfil the role you are meant to. The gods have forsaken this world, and all that’s left is to watch it burn.”

As Izuku and his closest friends are taking care of the last details for the opening of their new hero agency, everything takes a turn for the worst when a group of villains attacks with every intention of showing Izuku and the world he protects that the Symbol of Peace died with All Might, and he is not the hero that everyone idolises at all.

    Summary
    Anthology containing:

    Hearts on fire

Midoriya and Todoroki try out their first time kissing, whether it was planned or not. There's some embarrassment, some laughter and definitely some fire between them. It's really nothing but a bit of cute fluff.

I'm here if you want to

Todoroki is going back to his room after going to the bathroom late at night. On his way past the common room, he finds Midoriya crying by himself and he can't help but stop and try to comfort him.

    I'm sorry I'm too weak

When Todoroki has one particularly bad day, Endeavor's words won't leave him alone, they weigh on him with every breath he takes and they consume him. Weak. Too weak. He's wound so tight and he's so tired. That tension is bound to snap and take those around him with it.

You, me, popcorn and childhood dreams

When Midoriya finds out that Todoroki has never watched any of the Disney movies that filled his childhood with magical dreams and joy, he immediately has to right this horrible wrong. Todoroki finds himself at his friend's house for a movie marathon sleepover and he's not entirely sure what to do with himself. Was it always this hard to not stare at Midoriya?

    The Death of a Hero

That night marked the death of a hero. It marked the death of a friend, of a partner, of someone he loved. Shouto loved quietly but until the very end...

How to make a Shouto squirm

It was an accident really. It’s not like he was actively trying to pry any secrets out of his friend, how was he supposed to know? All Midoriya was trying to do was get Todoroki’s attention when they were in his dorm room studying. Granted he could’ve gone for a tap on his shoulder, or maybe even his arm but how was he supposed to predict this reaction?

Or Midoriya finds out Todoroki is ridiculously ticklish and has fun taking advantage of this knowledge.

    Swimming in thoughts of him

“Shouto…” The name leaves his lips like a prayer and he wakes with a shudder, his clothes sticking to his skin uncomfortably, sweat licking down his body as he suddenly sits up on his bed.

Midoriya groans as the moving images of his dream linger around in his mind, vivid and colourful, like a movie playing before his eyes. A movie that he was more than a little embarrassed to want to watch on repeat.

    Elsewhere

He can’t take it anymore, he can’t handle all this pain, all this suffering. Not when he’s had a taste of what it feels like to be… happy. Not when he’s learned what friends are and how much they help. Not when there’s someone out there who makes him feel like more than just a weapon, a possession. He can’t stay in this cold and dark place where everything around him burns. Is… Is that so wrong?

    Snow Day

    “It snowed last night!”

Todoroki blinked at him once, then another time, face as neutral as ever. Did he really just wake him up to tell him that? He could make it snow in his own room if he wanted. This was pointless. He was about to slam the door in Kirishima’s face, like he so desperately wanted to do, when the elevator dinged with the announcement of a new arrival.

    Right Here

    Direct sequel to Elsewhere

The walls are closing in around him, and he’s not sure if it’s the way his breaths are short that is making the room spin or if it’s the towering figure looming threateningly above him. He’s lying on the cold floorboards, hunched in on himself, hurting all over, body trembling violently in equal parts chilling cold, blinding rage and paralysing fear. Because when he looks up he sees nothing but fire, nothing but fury, disappointment and disgust, all burning bright red all around. But that’s not even the worst part.

Dancing to the Melody of Heartstrings

“K-Kacchan was the only one I’ve e-ever loved…” He pauses to take a gasping breath. “I still love him…”

“I know.” Uraraka sighs again, but this time it’s not exasperated as much as it is understanding and sympathetic. “Which is why you need to get out of here. Stop thinking about him and start moving on.”

Or the Dance AU no one asked for where Izuku is depressed about breaking up with Kacchan, so Uraraka takes him to a club to lift his spirits and he meets the guy who's going to keep his thoughts busy for far longer than he intended.

    Sick Day

    Direct Sequel to Snow Day

“Are you okay?” Todoroki whispered, trying not to rouse any more angry stares from the other students around them.

“’m fine…” Midoriya sniffled into yet another tissue, his green eyes taking on a glossy quality to it, half-lidded and red-rimmed.

Or Midoriya is sick and Todoroki doesn't quite know what to do! Just fluff and nothing more!

    To Have And To Hold

Letter after letter, Izuku goes on a journey through Shouto's deepest feelings, a loving gesture that sends him to loved one after loved one until he meets the one he loves most once again.

    Sugar Sweet

Drabble where Midoriya and Todoroki play the pocky game. That's all there is to it.

    Bleeding Hearts

Soulmates are connections. As is in the name, it is a connection that goes as deep as the soul itself. Souls are shaped through life experiences. Brightened and nurtured by love and joy. Bent and broken by pain and misfortune. And that connection is etched somewhere on his body, in his soulmate’s handwriting: a keepsake, something that will let him know what bound them together by the string of fate.

You Can Leave Your Socks On

Shouto never thought he’d find a particular piece of clothing enticing. Clothes were just clothes. Pieces of fabric tailored this way or that to cover someone up, sometimes leaving peeks into the person’s skin. That all changed when Shouto walked into Izuku’s room...

    Desperate For Your Touch

Shouto is hardly one step into their apartment when Izuku’s arms wrap around his neck, nails scraping against his scalp as he tangles his fingers into his hair. He couldn’t stop the small smile tugging at the corners of his lips if he wanted to, leaning down to press a kiss to Izuku’s temple before he buries his face in his neck. Shouto shudders when Izuku’s mouth closes around his collarbone, shuffling inside the rest of the way and closing the door behind them as his boyfriend starts to eagerly nibble at sensitive flesh.

    Thirst

How in the ever-living hell was he hotter with freaking clothes on?

Watch as Midoriya Izuku stumbles through a series of embarrassing events he's not quite sure how he got himself into. All because he came to the sudden realisation that one of his best friends is a lot hotter than he previously thought. And that's not just because of his quirk, or the hot day.

The Crown Does NOT Make the Royal

It's princess Uraraka's 16th birthday, so of course princes from all kinds of kingdoms have come to not only congratulate her, but also try to win her hand. Among the many guests, however, is All Might, revered war hero and inspiring ruler, and Izuku wants nothing more than to go to that ball and maybe get a chance to meet him. He manages to somehow get in, but the princess has other plans for him and drops her tiara on his head and leaves him. Prince Todoroki Shouto mistakes him for her brother because of it. How? He has no idea. They look nothing alike.

    Fire

“I want to deny you, is that okay?”

    “Deny me?”

Izuku hums, leaving another peck on his neck.

Or Izuku decides to deny Shouto his release.

The Rises and Falls of Your Breaths

It all starts with a summer storm... Izuku and Shouto are together through thick and thin, through the happiness and the sadness, through everything life might throw their way. It might not always be as easy as they would like it to be, but that's just how relationships go, and theirs is no exception.

    Just Out of Reach

Set in the same universe as Fire

Shouto is nothing if not a pleaser. It’s only natural that he would enjoy Izuku’s little noises, the way he voices his pleasure, blessing Shouto’s ears with the confirmation that he is in fact doing something right.

Izuku decides that Shouto's love for his voice might just be enough that he doesn't have to touch him at all.

Out of Sight, Out of (my) Mind

Sequel to Just Out of Reach
As hero work proves to be more and more demanding, finally getting a day off together seems to Izuku like the perfect opportunity to relearn the sensation of Shouto's skin beneath his fingers. But it just so happens that his hands might also be a little tied.

    A Heart's Desire

“It’s a quirk alright. Looks like a classic case of a love drug type quirk.”

“What makes you think that?” Izuku can’t really keep the bitter sarcasm completely out of his tone, trying to make himself wiggle out of Todoroki’s embrace rather than melt into it.

Or where Shouto gets hit by a quirk that makes him much more affectionate towards Izuku

    Oh, The Horror

When the Dekusquad spends the Halloween night on a Haunted House of Horrors with a promise of everlasting memories, Izuku finds that they may really be everlasting nightmares. Who knew that the aspiring hero with a knack for getting himself in the worst kind of trouble couldn’t handle horror? Hiding his very hopeless and obvious crush on Todoroki proves to be difficult as Izuku cowers in fear while clinging to his friend for most of the night.

    Sinergy

The guy twists on his heel as soon as Shouto hisses, wide green eyes filled with shame when they meet his. Shouto nearly flinches when the young man reaches for his arm, rubbing it gently with an apologetic smile before tilting his head slightly to one side. Wild green curls fall over those pools of jade and draw his attention to the dark freckles sprinkled all over his cheeks underneath them, Shouto’s vision blurring momentarily before focusing on full lips mouthing an apology.

First Encounters of the Awkward Kind

It is a fitting end for him, he thinks, someone who has not known warmth for as long as he can remember. Even so, Shouto did not imagine it would come so soon. Alone? Yes. During active duty? There was no other way for him. But only a few years into his career as a pro hero proper? Shouto always thought he would last at least a decade.

Or a story in which Shouto is saved from a really ironic death by a quirkless firefigther

    Kiss Kiss You're My Love

    “Did… did what exactly?”

Her head snaps up to look him in the eyes, a deep flush dusting over her cheeks before she covers her face with her hands and shakes her head violently. Strangely enough, Izuku is somewhat reminded of himself.

“I may have… Accidentally used my quirk on you.”

“Oh.” Izuku provides intelligently. “So, what should I be expecting?”

Or where Izuku gets hit by a quirk that throws him into the most embarrassing Shoujo manga tropes out there.

    Satisfaction

When Shouto comes home, he is met with the adorable sight of Izuku standing by the door to greet him with a cheeky grin, swallowed up in one other of Shouto’s hoodies, a light blue one with a large white snowflake at the front pocket, and grey sweatpants much too long on his legs.

    Last Chance

Shouto goes to Ashido for advice on how to confess to the person he loves. The gossip chain starts with Ashido. It always starts with Ashido. And When it gets back to Izuku, he decides that he needs to find him so that he can confess his own feelings before it's too late.

    Achievement Unlocked: Converted

The Jock and Nerd trope has been turned on its head. How exactly? Well, one is a quiet kid with glasses and the other is part of the wrestling team, but as they say... never judge a book by its cover.

    Santa Baby

Izuku went and got his time off one day early, so Shouto really couldn’t see him when he was still busy dealing with collateral.

Needless to say, he isn’t in the best of moods.

So, really, getting home to this was something he didn’t know he wanted but, good lord, it should have been at the very top of his wish list.

Or where Shouto comes home to a late Christmas gift...

    The Struggle™

    The Struggle™

When the person you're in love with is so painfully oblivious you have to resort to extreme measures to make them notice.

Or where Izuku gets desperate trying to get Shouto to realise his feelings for him run deeper than friendship.

    A Little Bit of Heaven

Shouto finds out some more about about the world he really lives in all the while settling into his relationship with Izuku.

I ship it (way too hard)

Having lived most of his life immersed in the ways of the hero world, Izuku knew that people really liked to pair heroes off. When he was obsessed with just being a hero, he didn’t really understand it, but it only took him realising exactly how much he cared for his aforementioned best friend for him to kind of get the picture.

Or where Izuku ends up running a server dedicated to his and Shouto's ship.

    Read Between The Lines

Throughout his first year of college, Izuku finds out a lot about himself. One of those things is that he is very, extremely, hopelessly gay for pretty boys with damn near impossible full heterochromia. And his plans to confess to his crush may just go a little awry.

A Kind Name For A Cursed Creature

The castle walls are cold and dark. Even on the days that the sun shines the brightest, Shouto can’t help but hide in the shadows that stretch across the walls, as if the very thought of stepping into the light might be painful.

A cursed prince consumed by darkness needs a light to shine through him to find his own.

    Quest for Love

Izuku comes from a humble little village where everyone knows each other and traditions run deeply in their little community. Despite his wild dreams of becoming an adventurer as he grew up attached to his mother’s skirts, he had never really thought he would get to live them.

And yet, he finds himself on a quest for a flower with Prince Todoroki and things take a turn for the worst.

    Behind The Screen

The little icon is a small image of a young man’s face surrounded by sparkly stars, the left half covered by a flowy, blood-red fabric. The part of his face that is uncovered is… quite beautiful, as cartoon drawings go. He has a pale complexion, silky-looking white hair—one of his anime boy weaknesses—and a soft grey eye paired with thin red lips.

Izuku narrows his eyes. “What is this?”

    “An Otome.” Ochako smirks.

We Are The Only Ones Holding Ourselves Back

One of his best friends has just confessed to him. The person he likes has just confessed to him. Izuku should be happy... Yet all he seems to feel is like the world is about to crash around him...

    Level Up

After getting together in High School, Shouto and Izuku follow into their lives together.

    Sequel to Achievement Unlocked: Converted

    Level Up: First Steps

The first time Izuku and Shouto from Achievement Unlocked: Converted are intimate.

    Level Up: Reunited

After a tense few weeks, Izuku and Shouto from Achievement Unlocked: Converted have a passionate reunion.

Fake It Till You Make It

On a Saturday afternoon, Izuku is met with a dilemma.

Or the one where TodoDeku fake date in order to make Shouto's crush jealous. The thing is... it actually works.

    Part Of Your World

After escaping from Behind The Screen of Izuku's phone, Shouto is now faced with integrating the real world. For that, Izuku is willing to go above and beyond to give him the best chance at a normal, real life.

    Dark Times This Way Come

Class 3-A is tasked with creating a 45 minute Noir Film for their English class. Their knowledge of the genre is pretty much limited to the aesthetic and basic themes and it's as much of a mess as anyone might imagine it would be. At least everyone looks amazing while doing it.

    Lost And Found

The sun is barely peeking above the horizon when Izuku comes to, fingers curling around the pillow he’s hugging to his chest as he takes in a few deep breaths, the soft covers wrapping around him like a lover’s embrace. Which reminds him…

Or the not-so-perfect morning after the perfect wedding.

    Clashing Emotions

“It was an accident with a civilian. Dude says his quirk splits someone’s negative and positive emotions into two separate entities. Guess since the half’n’half was already kinda split, it just… well.” Kacchan gestures vaguely towards the Todorokis.

It's Exactly What It Looks Like

When Shouto and Izuku are both dragged to the same party by their respective friends with the intent of getting them to meet someone to 'have fun with', they end up helping each other by spending a few hours together in a locked room--to talk to each other. When they end up growing closer after this first encounter, a bet forms between them: who will break first and tell their friends they actually started dating?

Not All Guardian Angels Have Feathers

A powerful demon shackled by his rank, his will held hostage by his father's rule. A young child raised by exorcists, curiosity and smarts unmatched by anyone his age. Certainly, it can only be a match made in Hell, one that will either destroy them or bind them together by more than just fate.

    Soul of a Song

A favourite song can say a lot about a person.

A soulmate AU in which soulmates can sometimes hear the other's favourite song in their head. For as long as he can remember, Izuku has only heard one song.

    Sinking Under

Being a merman born with defective fins, Izuku was left with not much to do but wander, and from a young age, he had always been warned by his mother not to get too close to humans because of it too. But when a human falls down a cliff and into the sea on a particularly stormy night, despite his shortcomings, Izuku has no other choice but to help in any way he can.

    Lost in a Dream

For as long as society can remember, soulmates had been a constant, unexplainable variable part of everyone’s life. No matter how far apart, those who shared such a connection would find each other in their dreams. Whenever the darkness of sleep took them over and they found themselves surrounded by the worlds of their subconscious’ making, they would be led to a place only they could share.

Izuku's soulmate never showed up at their place.

Mew Have Cat To Be Kitten Me

Izuku likes cats. Izuku also likes Todoroki. But Todoroki acting like a cat? Izuku doesn't really know how to feel about that.

    Love Yourself

When Shouto is hit by a quirk that makes him love the person he hates the most, Izuku is left reeling from the unbearable ache that settles in his chest.

    Fit for a Queen

“As you may or may not be aware… This wouldn’t be a western-style bachelor party without a little something.” Behind Denki, Kirishima snickers and Bakugou rolls his eyes. Shouto’s stomach drops slightly. “That something, my good friend, is obviously strippers. Well, stripper, in this case.”

“Denki—” Shouto starts, already feeling beyond uncomfortable by the notion alone.

“Oh, don’t worry, my Queen! I thought of everything to make this enjoyable for you. I went ahead and hired your favourite hero.” He winks.

The Other Side of The Veil

Death’s doors have been described as a multitude of scenarios: light at the end of a tunnel, loved ones waiting on the other side with open arms and smiling faces, one’s life flashing before their eyes and playing out like a movie… Izuku feels like his movie wouldn’t have been very noteworthy, a life lived quietly on the side-lines, regardless of it being his choice or not, always the background character no one pays attention to.

Major Character Death isn't technically permanent because of the existence of an Afterlife

    It'll Be Fun

After revealing that he has never celebrated Halloween before, Shouto is dragged to a Halloween party organised by class 3A as a way to celebrate on their last year together, and Izuku picks out his costume.

    Read With Me

Izuku starts hearing a smooth voice inside his head one day and thinks something is very wrong, until he realises... that's his soulmate. Their connection is quite the unique one, at least Izuku would certainly call hearing it recited at him whenever he is reading a book a unique soulmate connection. From what he hears, his soulmate doesn't read a lot of fun things, or any at all, really. Surely, their connection must be so he can fix that.

    The Comfort of Your Touch

At the time, they were nothing more than a soldier and his commander, his Prince. But travelling together, side by side for so long, witnessing parts of one another that no others had ever been so close to understand… It certainly changed things.

Prince Todoroki Shouto seeks the comfort of Izuku's embrace when his demons haunt his dreams.

    My Pet

Shouto comes home to find Izuku in a rather compromising position and decides it fit to teach him why he shouldn't engage in such activities without him.

    All The Words Necessary

A fan confuses Shouto for an adult industry lookalike, his roommate seems to be more than a little familiar with his work, and apparently misunderstandings can happen when feelings seem more obvious to one than the other.

    Cursed Blessings

There was a time, long ago, when gods listened to human’s prayers. The fabrics between the realms were thinner then, and beings such as the celestials held the power to traverse from one to another, to preform feats befitting of awe amongst those who were around to bear witness. Many thought them perfect, untouchable creatures better than humans in every sense, capable of wielding forces unfathomable to those around them.

    I'm Fine

    “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, it’s just a sneeze, Izuku. Probably just allergies or something.” Shouto waves his hand dismissively, returning to his tea and gesturing with his head for Izuku to eat as well when he continues staring.

Or the one where Shouto is obviously really sick and keeps insisting he's okay, despite continuously catching fire.

    A Sight For Sore Eyes

After a man breaks a witch's heart, she curses his entire male lineage to suffer excruciating pain when gazing upon the face of the one they love. Generations later, Izuku is a boy too quick to fall in love and suffering for the sins of his ancestor, cursed to hurt those he loves with the pain he feels by just looking their way. His only choice seems to be to live away from everyone, but it seems fate has other plans.

    Another Step to the Future

Planning to launch a fashion collection to break away from his father's influence and be free to live his life how he wants it, young star Todoroki Shouto models Ashido Mina's newest mini collection after his photographer and secret boyfriend Midoriya Izuku introduces them in hopes of kick-starting their work relationship.

    No Rest For The Wicked

Shouto’s name claws out of him in a scream that scratches his throat raw, finally the energy of One for All bursting through him, now that it’s too late, shattering the remnants of the ice that held around his torso as he leaps towards the rubble and lifts it in a fit of despair. His muscles lock at the sight of a hand surrounded by blood—so much blood, not again, not again, please not him—and his entire world comes crashing down around him, threatening to bring him to his knees once again.

    Echo

Not trusting his voice not to crack miserably, Izuku gives him a little nod that turns into a shake of his head about halfway through. How is he supposed to be okay? The literal man of his dreams is literally standing right in front of him, fussing over him while blushing like a maiden after the absolutely lecherous activities they have engaged in more than once in his head.

Or a fic where soulmates exist and Izuku thinks he doesn't have one... until he almost literally steps out of his dreams.

    In Your Arms

When there is only one bed in their hotel room when they go to a Hero Convention together, Shouto and Izuku decide there is nothing wrong with it. Though, they end up discovering a hidden comfort in sharing a bed when Shouto's past haunts his dreams mercilessly.

    Lazy Sunday

Shouto and Izuku indulge in each other's touch on a lazy sunday afternoon after a dumb quiz sparks a stupid conversation.

From the same universe as Achievement Unlocked: Converted.

    A Promise for the Future

  14. Summary

Deep Dish Nine is a Deep Space Nine AU in which the cast are all Human, and work and live around a pizza shop rather than a space station.

The shop is connected to Quark's Bar next door, and there's a tailor shop run by a really odd man a few doors down. Everyone who works in or near the shop, coincidentally, lives in the apartment building in same block/plaza/whatever. The shop used to belong to the Cardassia Heights neighborhood and was owned by a guy called Dukat, who had operated a gangster-themed place called Taco Noir.

Planets have become countries and ethnic neighborhoods like Cardassia Heights and Little Bajor. Species are nationalities and ethnic identities. Some characters changed a bit in their translation to Humans, or even in their translation to a new profession. There is some history behind everyone, so if they do something slightly different than what you might expect, I hope you'll trust that they have a reason to! I hope to reveal said reasons eventually!

This particular series is an exploration and development of Garak/Bashir in the confines of this universe. It will contain one big long chaptered work that follows an actual timeline and also some extra 'what if's.

    Anthology containing:

    Deep Dish Nine

Some sort of more legitimate title to come. Alternate universe in which DS9 is a pizza shop and the entire cast is Human.

This particular story is an exploration and development of ~something~ between the medical student working part-time at a pizza shop, and the more-than-slightly-odd tailor who works a few doors down from said shop.

    Out of Place

Freak transporter accident switches DS9 and DD9 Garak's places. While Deep Space Nine Garak is locked in Deep Dish Nine Garak's apartment, he investigates his other self through his mundane possessions.

(Posted between chapters five and six of my long chaptered DD9, but taking place much later than there!)

    Thief

Garak doesn't believe in fate, destiny, or luck, and they don't believe in him either.

Set in and written for the Deep Dish Nine universe, but I've been told it will work for just about any Garak and Bashir.

    Snaps

Julian really likes the camera on his phone. Miles and Garak not so much.

    Sick

    Julian is not feeling well.

    ---

Deep Dish Nine is an AU in which all players are human, and live and work near a pizza shop.

    Tradition

Julian spends the night in Garak's apartment for Reclaiming, a winter-time Cardassian light holiday.

    ---

Part of the Deep Dish Nine pizza shop AU.

    burning

Julian returns home to discover there's been a fire in the basement of the apartments where he lives.

    ------

A non-sequential part of the Deep Dish Nine Pizza Shop AU.

    Moment

Julian watches Elim make a grocery list.

    ---

Part of the Deep Dish Nine Pizza Shop-based AU.

    Summary

Four years after season two, after the pack has solidified and are attending school in Southern California, civilization crashes to a halt that kills most modern electronics. Derek orders the rest of the Hale Pack to either wait in LA or return to Beacon Hills, while he heads to Mexico to retrieve Stiles. What should have been a few days' trip turns into an odyssey contending with human horror, natural disasters and a lethal disease that may infect werewolves too. Derek and Stiles are forced into a closer partnership and an honest relationship even while they have to face that there is no promise of safety at their destination. Not for them, not for the Pack, and not for humanity.

No one guessed the domino fall of civilization would end with a howling from the forest when it all crashed to a halt.

    Summary

When Stiles told him he was a cabaret performer he certainly wasn't expecting this, and now Derek doesn't know what to do with himself.

Because Stiles is a drag queen and about the hottest person Derek has ever seen in his life.

Or; the one where Stiles is a drag queen cabaret performer and Derek somehow ends up being his makeup artist executive assistant.

I found out after that there are worse things than being Reaped. Worse than dying in the Arena trying to save the one you love. They don't tell you that the worst thing is to live after. It's not simple for a Victor. It's never that simple.
